  • Patent number: 10733559
Abstract: A chargeback analytics computing device for generating chargeback analytics associated with service chargebacks is provided. The chargeback analytics computing device is configured to retrieve transaction data for a merchant, the transaction data associated with transactions initiated at the merchant, and extract chargeback data from the transaction data, the chargeback data associated with chargeback transactions. The chargeback analytics computing device also parses the chargeback data to identify a chargeback reason code associated with each chargeback transaction. Based upon the chargeback reason codes, the chargeback analytics computing device isolates a fraud-related portion and a non-fraud-related portion of the chargeback data, and extracts a service subset of the non-fraud-related portion associated with service chargeback transactions, wherein a service chargeback transaction is initiated by a cardholder having an unsatisfactory experience with the merchant.

  • Patent number: 10713615
Abstract: Systems and methods that mitigate inventory overstock of a retail product are provided. The systems and methods receive inventory information for the retail product and determine, according to the inventory information for the retail product, whether a number of stock cover days is greater than a stock cover days threshold. It is also determined, according to the inventory information for the retail product, whether a projected inventory is greater than an overstock units threshold. When the number of stock cover days is greater than the stock cover days threshold, and when the projected inventory is greater than the overstock units threshold, it is determined whether another store location is ordering the retail product, and when another store location is ordering, an overstock rebalancing alert is provided to a user.

  • Patent number: 10692031
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for evaluating capacity needs of a customer. A selection of an industry workflow is received from the customer, or alternatively, the customer provides a custom workflow. Furthermore, the initial workload estimates and the capacity requirements for implementing the selected industry workflow or the custom workflow are determined based on the answers to a set of questions presented to the customer. A model is then created to represent a data flow of the selected/custom workflow as well as represent the transaction rates. A system is provisioned to simulate production usage based on the determined capacity requirements. Furthermore, a workload is simulated based on the model and the initial workload estimates. The usage patterns in the simulated workload and the usage of the system are monitored which are used to update the capacity requirements of the system.

  • Patent number: 10592837
Abstract: A device may receive, from sources, data objects identifying values relating to entities for which a risk indicator is to be determined, and may process the data objects to generate an analytical record that identifies relationships between values of different data objects. The device may determine, based on the analytical record, the risk indicator corresponding to one or more entities. The risk indicator may be determined based on at least one of: a comparison between the analytical record and a data structure that identifies expected values of one or more of the data objects; an identification of a group of the entities, and an outlier from the group of the entities based on the analytical record; or an identification of a change in behavior of the one or more entities based on the analytical record. The device may perform an action based on determining the risk indicator.

  • Patent number: 10565565
Abstract: Attention-based scheduling is provided. Most people's energy levels and cognitive functioning fluctuate throughout the day. Typically, the time of day when a person feels more energetic or has a higher attention span is the time in the person's day when the individual has the highest productivity potential. While at off-peak times, a person may have less attention, which can make it harder for the individual to be effective. An attention-based schedule system identifies a user's high and off-peak times based on one or more attention-based factors. When a meeting or appointment is scheduled and an attention-based scheduling conflict is determined, the user or another scheduler of the calendar item is notified, and in some examples, alternate time suggestions are provided. In some examples, off-peak times are blocked off from the user's calendar.
