Abstract: A standard time system provides a methodology and structure to calculate standard times for both manufacturing tasks and support tasks, based on task specific formulas, recursive algorithms for breaking down tasks into any granularity of actions and steps, routing structures for defining standard routing and alternative routing, and a linking matrix to link all related attributes such that a change in one variable value and/or calculated standard time is propagated through the entire manufacturing process. Access to the standard time system is provided by a visualization tool, which includes a graphical user interface (GUI). The visualization tool provides the user a visual representation of the full manufacturing process and the means for defining, recording and maintaining the related data and structure. Individual tasks are defined for the manufacturing of each product, and standard times are attributed to each defined task by formula based calculations.

A computer-implemented method includes detecting an anticipated unavailability of a first individual for a given future event, based on inputs generated by the first individual and databases of stored calendar information pertaining to the first individual and the given future event; identifying tasks, related to the given future event, requiring a delegation as a result of the anticipated unavailability of the first individual, wherein identifying is based on data related to the given future event; determining additional individuals to whom the tasks can be delegated, based on qualifications of the additional individuals and one or more constraints; generating a summary of the delegation comprising a description of the tasks and information pertaining to the given future event; and outputting the summary to at least one of the additional individuals.

The activity feed server may queue a recent event set of events younger than the processing delay in chronological order to generate a recent event list. The method generates a first facial pattern for a first facial image of a person and a first facial identification that is unique to the first facial pattern. A second facial pattern is generated from a second facial image and compared, by a computer in the LAN, with the first facial pattern to determine whether the first facial image and the second facial image are both from the same person. A second facial identification of the second facial pattern is generated when the second facial image is determined to be different from the first person. The system plots a graphical representation between completion time and a percentage of tasks completed and uses sophisticated analysis of slopes at different points of the graphical representation to determine time threshold guarantees below a specified maximum completion or first response time threshold, and above a specified minimum percentage of completion. The system also compensates for a variety of factors which may be changed from the time historical data was obtained to the present time for which time threshold guarantees are being determined. In absence of historical customer data, the system makes the recommendations based on available datasets of peer customers.
