Abstract: In a sportwear, especially ski wear of the type that pants are suspended with suspenders, length of the leg portions of the pants are formed extendably and contractably. Front ends of the suspenders are fixed to the front face of the waist portion W of the pants, while rear ends of the suspenders are fixed in a narrow width to a back support piece attached to the back face of the waist portion and having a length from the waist portion up to the neck portion. Thus the suspenders are prevented from slipping off from the shoulders.

Abstract: A protective garment for feeding, burping, nursing, and changing diapers of a baby, the garment having a main body member that may be secured about the neck and over the shoulders of a wearer, comprising an inner layer made from a waterproof material, such as vinyl, and an outer absorbent layer attached preferably on either side of the inner layer. The outer layer is made from soft material, such as cotton, fleece, flannel, or the like, which is suitable for soft contact with a baby's skin. A cloth member is removably attached to the front outer portion of the outer layer, and is used as a washcloth or napkin to clean a baby during or after feeding or burping. In the preferred embodiment, the front outer layer of the main body member includes a pair of pockets, having an elastic band about the top of the pockets for retaining baby bottles or other baby care items.

Abstract: A unitary garment for full or partial coverage of a torso that may be fully put on or removed, at the choice of the wearer, as an assembled or a disassembled garment, and subsequently may be partially removed and put on, again at the choice of the wearer, has a torso portion for providing at least some coverage of the front and back of a wearer, a pants portion having a front portion, a crotch portion for passing between the legs and connected to the front portion, and a seat portion connected to the crotch portion. One of the seat portion and front portion is connected to the torso portion, and the other of the front portion and seat portion has at its edges first fastening elements to selectively attach and release to assemble and disassemble the garment.

Abstract: A blanket for warming a child seated in a stroller having a frame, a seat, and push handles is provided. The blanket includes a sack portion for receiving the legs of the child seated in the stroller, the sack portion having side walls, a rear wall, and a front wall. The blanket also includes an upper portion for covering the torso of the child seated in the stroller. The upper portion includes a front wall and side walls, each of the side walls including an upper and a lower section. The front wall of the upper portion is attached to the lower sections of the side walls of the upper portion such that the front wall forms a flap which may cover the chest of the child seated in the stroller during particularly cold weather, and which may be folded down during more mild weather and when the child is to exit the stroller.

Abstract: An infant cover-up garment having a generally oval shape with an elastic perimeter defining an open back, an adjustable front closure with an aperture for the face of an infant, and a plurality of elastic fastener loops secured to and distributed about the elastic perimeter for enabling the garment to be releasably secured to a number of different infant carriers or stationary holding devices.

Abstract: A diving jacket for retaining warmth of a diver's torso is provided with an inner surface and an outer surface. The outer surface of the diving jacket is formed from first and second front torso portions fastened to a back portion. A releasable fastener for releasably attaching the first front torso portion to the second front torso portion is also preferably secured to the diving jacket. At least one loop is attached to the outer surface of the diving jacket to define an aperture that is dimensioned to accommodate a corresponding strap of a buoyancy compensator for allowing the buoyancy compensator to be secured to the outer surface of the diving jacket.

Abstract: A cape for hair cutting having a feature which prevents cut hair from clogging the neck closure. Additionally, the cape has a resiliently connected toy which can be accessible for play by a child.

Abstract: To retain a glove or mitten to a jacket, an elastic loop is sewn into the cuff of the sleeve which is sized to securely receive the barrel shaped cord lock at the end of a glove leash. The narrow glove loop opening prevents the larger cord lock from slipping through the loop, securely retaining the unworn glove to the jacket.

Abstract: A brassiere comprises a pair of cups, a pair of shoulder straps, and a pair of body straps adapted to cross each other, to extend around sides of a person wearing the brassiere, and to fasten to each other at distal ends of the body straps. The shoulder straps and the body straps include hook and loop fasteners for fastening the straps about the person wearing the brassiere.

Abstract: For the collection of hair clippings (21) during cutting of the hair of a person, a collar (1) is fitted around his/her neck. The collar (1) has a surface on which the hair clippings (21) falling from the person's head are caught. The surface is coated with an adhesive for that purpose.

Abstract: A woman's sport top with interior bust support is provided. The bust support is provided by two interior bust support sections fastened to opposite sides of the inside of an outer fabric and detachably connected together. Fastening means in the center of the front of both the interior bust support and the outer fabric allow the sport top to be opened and closed easily and comfortably in the front of the garment.

Abstract: A holder for bulky construction worker's gloves during their non-use, wherein the holder is attached by downwardly facing clips to the construction worker's belt and the gloves inserted within upwardly facing clips of resilient plastic construction material so that the bulk of the gloves opens the clips and the urgency of the resilient plastic material closes the clips upon the gloves to hold them in place.

Abstract: A garment functioning as a cushion, blanket, or poncho with a hood. The garment includes a small triangular sheet, which functions as a hood, attached to a rectangular main sheet and handles attached to the top and near the center of the main sheet. The sheet assembly may be spread out as a blanket or worn as a poncho such that the triangular portion is fit over a person's head and the remaining main sheet drapes over the person's body. As the main sheet is folded, the handles meet and snap together to form a cushion and easily carried case.

Abstract: A vest or garment is made of two independent halves which are removably connectable to each other. Each half has a body portion having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a shoulder loop extending up from the body to position the body portion of each half below an underarm of a person wearing the vest. At least one pocket is formed on the body portion to enable the vest to removably receive a weight. To connect the two halves together, so that the garment may be worn, an upper strap extends from the shoulder loop and a lower strap extending from the body portion. The upper straps are adapted to be connected to each other to extend across the person's back and the lower straps are adapted to be connected to each other to extend across the person's abdomen.

Abstract: A painter's garment for supporting on a wearer a prescribed paint supply container of the type having a handle and a prescribed paint application tool of the type having an opening. The garment includes a belt for mounting the garment on the wearer. An apron is secured to and depends from the belt. The apron has a front face. A first connector is secured to the apron for engaging and removably holding the handle of the container. A second connector is secured to the apron for engaging and removably holding the paint application tool. The first and second connectors and the apron are relatively arranged and configured such that when the container handle is suspended from the first connector and the paint application tool is supported from the second connector, the container is disposed adjacent the apron and the paint application tool is positioned over or within the container.

Abstract: A washable or disposable nursing pad with an augmented lower region primarily for nighttime use comprising a first two to twenty layers of a washable absorbent fabric or a disposable paper-like sheet material with a second two to twenty layers of the same materials, but smaller in size than the first two to twenty layers of material, sewn in between on the lower region of the pad. The pad is large enough to cover substantially the entire female breast and to fill substantially the typical bra cup.

Abstract: A disposable bib is formed from a sheet of absorbent material having a first tear line of perforations extending from a first point on an upper edge of the sheet around a generally arcuate path back to a second point on the upper edge. A second tear line is spaced downwardly from the first line and following a generally matching path to define an arcuate band between the first and second lines. The second tear line does not extend to the upper edge of the sheet. The sheet is torn along the first tear line to form a cut-out for fitting around a wearer's neck, and along the second tear line to form a band attached to the sheet. The band can be folded upwardly and engaged over the back of the wearer's head, so that the sheet or bib is secured in position without needing any separate attachment devices.

Abstract: This bib is designed to use the infrastructure already in place for the production, packaging, distribution, retailing and dispensing of a paper towel. A suggested bib material is a layer of paper toweling for absorbency with a plastic film backing for moisture protection. A suggested packaging is a roll of rectangular-shaped bibs having the same diameter and width as a roll of paper toweling. This enables the bib to be produced with existing technology and results in a roll of bibs that fits a standard paper towel holder and dispenses bibs in the same tear-off manner. The bib features a reusable attachment at the neck that accommodates different neck sizes and desired closeness of fit yet releases easily to eliminate a choking hazard. This also allows one size to fit children and adults. The bib also features a fold-up pocket at the bottom to catch and retain solid and liquid spills. These features plus the easy on, easy off and reusability add up to a low-cost, high performance product.

Abstract: An adjustable elastic protective eyewear strap for swimwear goggles and the like includes an elongated elastic cord having an elastic core encased in a stretchable cover. The goggle strap uses a releasable lock providing quick and convenient length adjustment for the goggle strap. The goggle strap is used in conjunction with a pair of goggles to provide a dependable and durable method for securing the goggles to the user's head.

Abstract: A hand mounted pocket for placement on a back of a hand. The hand mounted pocket comprises: a wrist band, at least one finger band, and a pocket panel. The wrist band is annular and is sized to engage a person's wrist. The at least one finger band is annular and is sized to engage at least one finger of a person's hand. The wrist band and the at least one finger band are joined by the pocket panel, wherein an upper portion of the pocket panel is attached to the at least one finger band, and a lower portion of the pocket panel is attached to the wrist band. The pocket panel is sized to extend across a back portion of a hand, the pocket panel has at least one pocket therein.
