Abstract: A multi-functional garment includes a combination back-pack, a tote bag, and an article of clothing wherein a pack-pack portion is integrated with the back panel of the article of clothing. The garment is manipulated into its various functional configurations by inverting the back-pack/tote bag portion to reveal or, conversely, conceal the article of clothing. The back-pack/tote bag portion of the garment has a double flap closure to provide alternative closure options for the back-pack/tote bag.

Abstract: A light-reflection band device has a protection band, a flexible plate disposed on the protection band, a base band disposed on the flexible plate, a transparent layer disposed on the base band, and a liquid solution and a large number of light-reflection particles disposed between the transparent layer and the base band. A periphery of the protection band, a periphery of the flexible plate, a periphery of the base band, and a periphery of the transparent layer are melted together.

Abstract: A multi use head cover comprising an adjustable size visor portion and a detachable fabric head covering portion. The visor portion includes a visor band with a divided after section joined by a pair of interlocking plastic strips. A bill is attached to a forward portion of the visor band which is raised relative to the after end and sides to provide effective sun shading. An upper edge of the visor band is trimmed with a first half of a zipper. The second half of the zipper is attached to the corresponding edge of a fabric dome in the shape of a conventional yarmulke. The after edge of the dome may be recessed to correspond with the gap in the upper edge of the after section of the visor band to prevent bunching of the fabric dome when the visor band is adjusted to smaller sizes.

Abstract: An article of clothing designed to protect a wearers face, head and neck area from inclement weather, includes a hood portion member structurally arranged to cover and engage the head and neck area of the wearer and a face portion member secured to the hood portion and structurally arranged to cover and engage the face of the wearer. The face portion member includes a plurality of openings aligned to cooperate with the eyes, nose and mouth of the wearer and a securing member engaging one side of the face portion and extending around the back of the wearer's head and engageable with the opposite of the face portion to adjustably secure the face portion onto the wearer's face.

Abstract: Coveralls having a reversibly closable access opening partially dividing the front of the coveralls across the chest and arm or arms, to facilitate easy ingress and egress of the coveralls. In a first embodiment the access opening is reversibly closed by a zipper and extends from the central vertical opening dividing the front of the coveralls, across one side of the chest and down one sleeve of the coveralls. Ingress of the coveralls is facilitated by opening the front opening and the access opening, stepping into the legs of the coveralls and then closing the front opening and access opening, whereas egress is facilitated by opening the front opening and access opening and then stepping out of the coveralls. In another embodiment a second access opening extends from the front opening of the coveralls, across the opposite side of the chest from the first access opening and extends down the opposite sleeve of the coveralls.

Abstract: A molded work glove for providing protection to the hand and fingers of a wearer against cold and abrasion is provided. A hand portion is made of a sheet foam material having a thickness between 1 mm and 5 mm. A hand cavity is disposed in the hand portion and is defined by the sheet foam material. Finger portions are mounted to the periphery of the hand portion and extend outwardly. The finger portions have a palm side and a back side and a tip located distal to the hand portion. The finger portions are made of a sheet foam material having a thickness between 1 mm and 5 mm. Finger cavities are disposed in the finger portions and are defined by the sheet foam material. The sheet foam material is an elastic, nonabsorbent, insulating material. The finger cavity at the tip is sized to loosely fit the finger of the wearer such that a gap is formed between the finger of the wearer and the sheet foam material. At least one aperture is disposed in the palm side at the tip of at least three finger portions.

Abstract: A method and article for facilitating the application of a wet suit to a human body having a torso portion with a first arm member and a second arm member extend outwardly from opposite sides of the torso portion. The first and second leg members extend downwardly from the torso portion. The torso portion, the leg members and the arm members are formed of a spun high density polyethylene fiber material. First and second mittens are also formed of the same material and are removably affixed adjacent to the first and second arm members, respectively. First and second boots are also formed of the same material and are removably affixed adjacent to the first and second leg members, respectively. The torso portion has a V-shaped open area formed on a back surface of the torso portion.

Abstract: A pocket billfold removably securable within a front pocket includes a pair of panels forming a container for holding bills, currency, credit cards, and the like. The pocket billfold has a notched corner portion at the top of the container. The pocket has a rivet on its top line adjacent the side seam of the pocket. When the billfold is inserted into the pocket, the notched corner portion of the container engages the underside of the riveted portion of the pocket and the side thereof, preventing the billfold from unintended removal from the pocket. A clip secured to one of the panels of the billfold grips the material of the front of the pocket and provides additional protection of the billfold within the pocket.

Abstract: A long-sleeved garment having a sleeve with a cuff attached thereto along an annular seam. A pocket connected to an inner side of the sleeve and cuff along a portion of the annular seam accommodates all fingers of a hand except for the thumb. A thumb compartment extends from the sleeve above the cuff for accommodating the thumb of the hand. Both the pocket and thumb compartment are retractable inside the sleeve such that they are unnoticeable when not in use.

Abstract: A batting glove is designed for players that hold the bat with one or two fingers over or under the knob. The glove includes a knob receptacle that will act as a pivot point for the knob in the palm of the glove. A surface pad is fixed proximally along the surface of the palm of the glove. A piece of foam is mounted proximally perpendicularly to the surface pad approximating the shape of the letter "J". A cover is then placed over both foam pads to protect the pads against wear.

Abstract: A fastener for removably attaching pockets and other accessories to garments which includes slidably interlocking male and female members. The male member also includes a locking tab which cooperates with a locking post on the female member for securing the fastener in a closed position. The male member and the female member may be attached to the pocket and the garment respectively by sewing them in position.

Abstract: A disposable bib is formed from two sheets of absorbent material such as tissue paper, separated by perforations. The bibs are dispensed from a roll, with each bib being separated from the roll along a row of perforations. Alternate sheets have a flap defined by perforations. In use the flap is released from one of the sheets and folded to overlie or underlie the other sheet to provide a neck-receiving opening and a double thickness protective bib portion.

Abstract: A multi-sport goggle having a tear-away lens system includes a pair of strap brackets which pivotally and removably attach a goggle strap to the goggle frame. One of the strap brackets includes a third post to removably secure the lateral pull-strap of the tear-away lenses, the other two posts (for securing the panes of the tear-away lenses over the permanent lens) being carried on a pair of lens brackets which are removably secured to either side extent of the goggle frame.

Abstract: A diving suit has an upper torso portion and a lower torso portion. The upper and lower torso portions are connected and one is layered and folded upon itself in the waistband area. A stretchable waistband is connected to the upper and lower torso portions about the circumference of the diving suit on the inside of the diving suit over the layered area and allows the upper torso portion to move relative to the lower torso portion while the user is entering the diving suit and during operation thereafter. A recess in the waistband area accommodates the bottom of the zipper which extends diagonally across the forward torso portion.

Abstract: A device which improves the method for identifying athletes during sporting activities, particularly practices and physical education classes, comprised of a wide colored garment worn around the midsection of the participant. An elastic belt having cloth panels attached and hanging therefrom is pulled around the waist of the participant and fastened by means of hook and loop or other simple attachment. It provides freedom of motion when worn, while being easy to put on and remove. The highly visible surface area is nearly continuous and allows teachers, referees, participants, scorers, coaches, fans, and the like to differentiate between the various athletes.

Abstract: A new Weighted Golf Glove for improving a golfer's golf swing and thereby helping a golfer improve his or her golf game. The inventive device includes a glove including a palm portion, a back portion, finger stalls, a thumb stall, and a wrist portion cooperatively joined together to fit a wearer's hand and a pocket provided intermediate the wrist portion and the thumb stall of the glove wherein the pocket is adapted for receiving and holding a generally flexible conforming weight capable of conforming in use to the shape of the ball of the thumb of a wearer's hand.

Abstract: A convertible hat comprises a crown formed of flexible material and having a peripheral edge defining a head-receiving opening, a visor flexibly attached to the crown along a section of the peripheral edge and projecting forwardly from the crown, a removable strap extending about and exteriorly of the crown adjacent the peripheral edge, guide means for guiding and retaining the strap adjacent the peripheral edge. Releasable fastening means for releasably attaching free ends of the strap to the crown at predetermined locations on opposite sides thereof. Further releasable fasteners are also provided for releasably attaching the visor to a rear portion of the crown.

Abstract: A stow-away traveler's jacket made from a one or two piece modular construction. The upper jacket or torso covering section has arm outlet and resembles a shortened version of a conventional jacket. The lower section has a belted portion or some other user fastening device and at least one storage liner pocket into which the folded upper section may be stowed and then worn like a belt. There may be storage pockets made of two flapped front pockets.

Abstract: A garment sleeve of relatively long length with an open distal end and an opposite proximate end secured to the garment contains a hollow flexible article of relatively short length and having first and second opposite ends. The article has a relatively small thumb receiving hole intermediate its first and second ends. One of the ends of the article is disposed within the distal end and is peripherally sealed to the interior of the sleeve.
