  • Patent number: 5713080
Abstract: A clothing ornamentation device and method for decorating the upper torso area of an individual wearing a garment. The device includes a securement element that attaches to the upper back portion of a wearer's garment and allows the attachment and support of strands and ornaments to the strands. The weight of the ornaments produces a bias on the strands, so that the ornamentation may be draped over the user's upper chest area, where they will rest while being supported by the strands. The device allows variation of number and composition of the ornaments as well as the strands. The device attaches to back portion of wearer's garment near the neck area of the garment. This allows the draping or incorporation of ornaments that may be used to decorate the back of the user's garment as well.

  • Patent number: 5699559
Abstract: A shapesuit comprises a body formed by sewing together a front body and a back body; and at least a pair of stretchable straps extended diagonally and substantially in an X-shape on and sewn to either the front body or the back body so that the middle portions thereof intersect each other. When the front body is provided with the stretchable straps in an X-shaped arrangement, the stretchable straps lift superfluous flesh on the waist toward the middle of the wearer's body, and flattens the stomach and the waist by their elasticities. When the back body is provided with the stretchable straps in an X-shaped arrangement, the stretchable back straps lift superfluous flesh on opposite sides of the buttocks toward the middle of the wearer's body so that the width across the hips is reduced and the middle between the hips bulges out backward, pull the shoulders backward so that the spine is straightened to correct the posture. Thus, the shapesuit shapes up the body form.

  • Patent number: 5682609
Abstract: A bib for covering the chest region of a wearer's body has a sheet of flexible material which is proportioned to extend between the wearer's shoulders and which has openings through which the wearer's arms may extend. Tie strings connect with the side edges of the sheet at locations which are spaced downward from the upper edge and thus need not encircle the wearer's neck. A slot extends downward from the upper edge of the sheet at a location midway between the side edges of the sheet to enable the upper edge to lie flat against the wearer's throat. In one form of the bib an open pocket extends along the lower edge of the bib to intercept substances. Optionally, the bib may be formed of transparent material or may be a laminate having a waterproof inner layer and an absorbent outer layer that may be used in the manner of a napkin.

  • Patent number: 5678248
Abstract: A sportsman's mitten which has a flexible hand enclosing glove member that is adapted to enclose and confine a human hand therein in a non-extended closed configuration. An outer-most distal end of the mitten enclosure is slit open to provide an opening for permitting extension of the enclosed fingers of the hand such that they can extend therethrough and beyond by merely extending ones fingers outwardly from the closed configuration. A conventional hook and loop fastener mechanism temporarily closes this distal end opening and is adapted for easy quick opening again by mere extension pressure applied thereto by the outward extension of ones fingers from the closed or fist-like configuration.

  • Patent number: 5666665
Abstract: This invention is an addition to a flat baby bib. The bib has an attached roll of soft, absorbent fabric, (terrycloth, quilting, etc.), to catch the liquid that so often runs out of a new baby's mouth as he drinks from a bottle. The outside of the roll has Velcro patches that allow positioning on the bib wherever is needed to catch the drips. After the bottle is finished, the roll of wet fabric can be removed from the bib, leaving it dry and wearable longer. The roll of material can be unsnapped for washing ease.
