  • Patent number: 10700777
Abstract: A method of assigning performance indicators to objects of a network employing a computation to assign performance indicators to said objects of said network such that a sum of said performance indicators of objects along a given path in said network in relation to a first threshold value indicates whether said path fulfils a predetermined criterion, and/or indicates whether said path does not fulfil said predetermined criterion. A method of evaluating a performance of a path in a network based on the performance indicators involves the steps of calculating a sum of performance indicators for said objects along said path and evaluating a performance of said path by comparing said sum against a first threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10686861
Abstract: A method for a live stream connector includes receiving an input media stream of data with input parameter and transmitting, to a receiving node, the input media stream as packetized data with a header indicating the input parameters. The receiving node is configured with a receiving buffer based on the input parameters of the header and is configured to emit the packetized data to a destination when an amount of delay since receipt of the packetized data satisfies the latency input of the input parameters. The method further includes receiving, from a feedback node, a control packet identifying a missing packet within the transmission. The method also includes identifying that a retransmission buffer includes the missing packet and determining whether a sender buffer includes the identified missing packet. When the sender buffer includes the identified missing packet, the method includes retransmitting the identified missing packet to the receiving node.

  • Patent number: 10686707
Abstract: Described embodiments improve the performance of a computer network via optimization of connection redirection or redistribution based on link characteristics such as latency. In some implementations, a high priority connection may be initially established via an available link having a lowest latency or highest throughput. If the connection is not particularly latency-sensitive, then once the connection has ramped up to a highest throughput (e.g. largest congestion window size, etc.), the connection may be moved to a higher latency link, freeing the lower latency link for new connections to similarly ramp up throughput.

  • Patent number: 10574313
Abstract: Technique for full-duplex transmission in many-antenna multi-user (MU) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems is presented in this disclosure. An estimate of a self-interference channel between a plurality of transmit antennas and a plurality of receive antennas is first obtained. A precoder for self-interference reduction is generated based on minimizing a self-interference power related to the self-interference channel that is present at the plurality of receive antennas. Transmission data are modified using the precoder by projecting the transmission data onto a defined number of singular vectors of the self-interference channel that correspond to the defined number of smallest singular values of the self-interference channel. Data are received in full-duplex mode via the plurality of receive antennas simultaneously with transmitting the modified transmission data.

  • Patent number: 10542477
Abstract: The present invention provides an EHSN communication protocol that uses a beaconing scheme to facilitate communication between multiple low power sensor nodes. In the illustrative embodiment, the desired sensor data flows through a series of sensor nodes from the origin sensor to a destination node through a set of intermediate relay nodes. Transmissions from one node to another occur using a receiver-initiated beaconing scheme, in which beacons are sent by each node when they have harvested sufficient energy to relay data. The specific set of relay nodes is chosen opportunistically from the total set of nodes in the network, based on which nodes have harvested sufficient energy (and broadcasted the appropriate beacon), and which nodes are optimally positioned to forward data to the destination node.
