Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for dynamically routing a mobile sales operation are disclosed. A computer-implemented method may include receiving a request to provide a location recommendation to a mobile sales operation where the request comprises GPS coordinates from a GPS device associated with the mobile sales operation, determining the location recommendation based on analyzing data associated with a competitor of the mobile sales operation in view of the GPS coordinates, sending a first communication comprising the location recommendation to a computing device of the mobile sales operation, and sending a second communication comprising GPS coordinates of an updated location recommendation to the computing device of the mobile sales operation in view of a change in status for one or more competitors of the mobile sales operation.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing social discovery service operations. In one embodiment, a system for providing a social discovery service is disclosed. The system may be configured to receive transaction data relating to one or more purchase transactions involving one or more merchants and one or more consumers. The system may also be configured to receive product data identifying one or more products included in the one or more purchase transactions. The system may also receive location data associated with the one or more purchase transactions. Based on the transaction data, location data, and the product data, the system may be configured to generate one or more social discovery graphs. Further, the system may be configured to perform one or more social discovery operations based on the one or more social discovery graphs.

Abstract: Inventory is managed to minimize the footprint of storage spaces affected by variable production volumes and high inventory turnover. A warehouse includes a plurality of storage spaces for storage of items in the inventory. In response to receiving a request to store or retrieve a particular item, a recommended storage space in the warehouse can be determined for the particular item. The determination can be at least partially based on one or more user-defined facts, one or more user-defined rules, and a current state of the warehouse at the time the item location request is received. The user-defined facts can relate to an item, the inventory, the plurality of storage spaces, and/or the warehouse. The user-defined rules can be configured to dynamically assign storage spaces to the warehouse based at least partially on user-defined indications of how items will be consumed during a workflow performed within the warehouse.

Abstract: Methods and computer systems are used to create context-based event entries. In one aspect, the method includes, at a computer system with one or more processors and memory: (1) receiving a content-less request to create an event entry; (2) selecting an applicable rule from a set of rules stored at the computer system in accordance with one or more context items, the one or more context items comprising one or more context items for the user, the set of rules comprising a plurality of distinct rules; (3) creating an event entry in accordance with the selected applicable rule and at least one of the one or more context items for the user, the event entry including one or more fields having content determined in accordance with the at least one of the one or more context items for the user; and (4) providing the event entry for display.

Abstract: The present invention provides a comprehensive method for automatically and unobtrusively analyzing the in-store behavior of people visiting a physical space using a multi-modal fusion based on multiple types of sensors. The types of sensors employed may include cameras for capturing a plurality of images and mobile signal sensors for capturing a plurality of Wi-Fi signals. The present invention integrates the plurality of input sensor measurements to reliably and persistently track the people's physical attributes and detect the people's interactions with retail elements. The physical and contextual attributes collected from the processed shopper tracks includes the motion dynamics changes triggered by an implicit and explicit interaction to a retail element, comprising the behavior information for the trip of the people.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for providing cloud services to multiple customers in a cloud. One embodiment includes receiving a number of requests for the cloud services from the multiple customers simultaneously or substantially simultaneously; prioritizing the requests based on a probability distribution of actually deploying a service, a budget of the customers, and an expected demand of the requested service based on the probability distribution; generating a number of cloud configurations along with a number of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the customers based on prioritization of the requests, a class & past behavior of the customers, and a current demand of the cloud services, the SLAs of the customers include differentiated price offering; recommending the cloud configurations and the SLAs to the customers; allowing the customers to negotiate terms of the SLAs; and providing the cloud services based on the negotiated SLAs to the customers.

Abstract: Systems and methods for energy distribution for one or more grid-scale Energy Storage Systems (ESSs), including generating one or more time series models to provide forecasted pricing data for one or more markets, determining battery life and degradation costs for one or more batteries in or more ESSs to provide battery life and degradation costs, optimizing bids for the one or more markets to generate optimal bids based on at least one of the forecasted pricing data or the battery life and degradation costs, and distributing energy to or from the one or more ESSs based on the optimal bids generated.

Abstract: Methods of providing services to individual and methods of manufacturing items are described. Data structures to represent priority values for those individuals or items are also described. By ascribing priority values to a set of items, those items can be grouped based on those priority values. Once grouped based on priority values, the items within each group can be manufactured according to group priority as well as according to the characteristics of each item to be manufactured within that group. The same concept applies to providing services to individuals.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate methods and systems for crowdsourcing a task. The method includes identifying a first set of workers from workers, based on a performance of the workers on a set of tasks previously attempted by the workers, and a Service Level Agreement (SLA) associated with the task. The method further includes generating a graph comprising nodes and edges connecting the nodes. Each of the one or more nodes is indicative of a worker. An edge, connecting two workers, is indicative of said two workers having worked together on at least one task. The method further includes receiving an input, to select a second set of workers from the first set of workers, based on one or more first parameters associated with each of the nodes in said graph and second parameters associated with each of the edges in the graph.

Abstract: An automated real estate valuation system for a selected specific property, that uses specific property input attributes items and a plurality of primary token features that are disposed within a specific tract of land, in addition, a plurality of recently sold property input data set items and a plurality of secondary token features that are disposed within the same specific tract of land. Sold properties are qualified by being within first and second ranges of first and second matched items to the specific property, wherein common features are removed and remaining features are given a tokenized grouping and weight via an algorithm to explain price per square foot differences between sold properties. These weights are used determine a calculated value of the specific property by determining a calculated value per square foot based upon the weight of the features associated with the specific property.

Abstract: For distributed analysis of time-series data in a smart entity environment, the data is received from a data source in the environment. An overall analysis of the data is distributed to a first node in the environment. In a network operating the environment the first node is at a smaller distance from the data source as compared to a second node. A first portion of the overall analysis is performed on the data at the first node to produce a first conclusion. The first conclusion is routed to the second node. The second node performs a second portion of the overall analysis. Using the first conclusion, from the first node, a first action is caused to occur on a component of the environment. The data source is associated with the component, the data is indicative of a condition in the environment, and the component participates in the condition.

Abstract: For a financial consolidation process, user input is received defining financial consolidation tasks for business entities and the tasks are associated with respective roles. The roles are assigned to persons who are responsible for completion of tasks associated with their respective roles. A graphical user interface is presented providing control elements and task icons representing the financial consolidation tasks for the business entities, including presenting a visual feature of each icon indicating status of each icon's respective task. Responsive to receiving a user input from a user control element for a selected task icon, identification is shown for a person assigned to the task of the selected task icon.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method of generating social marketing group information of each affiliate store in which credit card payment information is associated with social network information and an after-marketing method intended for a social marketing group. A personal connection-based consumption group is formed by combining credit card members who are a consumption group with social network subscribers who are a personal connection group, and marketing intended for the person connection-based consumption group is conducted. A plurality of social marketing groups are formed for each affiliate store using credit card payment information and social network information. When a member of the social marketing group purchases a product or service in the affiliate store, the affiliate store provides purchasers belonging to the social marketing group with a benefit as the price for advertising expenses.

Abstract: A system for optimized configuration of an adaptive authentication service is disclosed that automatically generates one or more risk score thresholds. The system generates a risk score threshold or thresholds for an upcoming time period such that the business damages estimated to occur during the upcoming time period are minimized. The business damages estimated to occur during the upcoming time period may include business damages resulting from false negative authentication determinations, which incorrectly indicate that a fraudulent authentication request is legitimate, and false positive authentication determinations, which incorrectly indicate that a legitimate authentication request is fraudulent, and may be offset by the beneficial value of the enhancement to an organization's reputation resulting from true positive authentication determinations, which correctly indicate that an authentication request is fraudulent.

Abstract: A system and method for scheduling a plurality of event programs, including: for each event program, generating a program calendar that enables a corresponding program administrator to assign a priority tier to each of a set of event slots in the corresponding event program; for each event program, generating an administrator dashboard that enables the corresponding program administrator to assign a priority tier to each of a set of schedulees for the corresponding event program; and for each schedulee, generating a schedulee calendar that enables the corresponding schedulee to schedule only the event slots assigned a priority tier that match to the priority tier assigned to the corresponding schedulee.

Abstract: A system and approach for charting equipment output values over a historical period of time. A processor may provide the actions for charting, comparison, analysis, detection of the problem, investigation and providing remedial solutions relative to the problem. Charting the values may be done alongside of, for example, an occupancy schedule. If there are not corresponding changes between equipment output values and occupancy, then an investigation may be made to find a problem. If the problem is found, then a correction may be made to solve the problem. The present system and approach for indication of a problem may provide an opportunity to remedy the problem early on thereby resulting in savings of time and costs.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing interactive issue creation and management for use in project management processes. The system provides users with mechanisms for creating fully-featured, easy-to-identify, and highly legible issues, with a visual mechanism for communicating issue information between the parties involved in the project management process, thereby resulting in improved tracking to ensure issues are appropriately addressed and timely resolved, saving time and money.

Abstract: A mobile Quality Management/Control system for performing mobile product inspections is provided. A mobile device, such as a tablet, is configured to communicate with one or more databases and allow for real time entry (and subsequent access) of the details of product inspections for quality control and management purposes. The details of such inspections are maintained and available for all subsequent inspections. The mobile device is further configured to provide inspectors with inspection procedures and/or tutorials associated with the inspections being performed.

Abstract: A salesperson may be paid commissions for products sold from the inventory of a merchant. In some examples, the commissions for different products may be determined and changed dynamically, throughout the course of a business day, in response to changing sales rates and inventory conditions. Specifically, commissions may be changed to increase the sales rates of certain products over others. As an example, it may be desired to increase the sales rates of products having relatively high inventory counts and/or that are nearing the expiration of their shelf lives. The changing commission amounts are published or advertised to the salespersons throughout the day so that the salespersons can see which products will produce the highest commissions. The commissions may be paid electronically, immediately or soon after the transactions in which the commissions were earned.

Abstract: A method for minimizing a physical queue for a first guest attraction, the method including storing a guest identifier corresponding to a guest in a first virtual queue, wherein a position of the guest within the first virtual queue is associated with an estimated wait time for the first guest attraction, updating the first virtual queue when the position of the guest within the first virtual queue is changed, providing a notification to the guest to enter the physical queue when the position of the guest in the first virtual queue is less than or equal to a threshold position of the first virtual queue, removing the guest identifier from the first virtual queue in response to an indication to dequeue the guest from the first virtual queue, storing the guest identifier in a second virtual queue corresponding to the physical queue, and removing the guest identifier from the second virtual queue in response to an indication that the guest is exiting the physical queue.
