  • Patent number: 11936490
Abstract: Upon receiving a copy of upstream communication from a first switch, a second switch specifies an NF apparatus serving as a transmission source of the upstream communication, based on apparatus information indicating a MAC address of each apparatus and a transmission source MAC address contained in the copy of the upstream communication. The second switch refers to the apparatus information, and MAC address information indicating, for each port of the switch, a MAC address of an apparatus connected via the port, thereby specifying a port of the second switch connected to the NF apparatus, and a MAC address of the transmission source via the port. The second switch stores session information in which information on the specified port and MAC address is associated with header information set for the copy of the upstream communication. Upon receiving downstream communication, the second switch transfers the downstream communication to the NF apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11917551
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are drawn to methods and electronic devices capable of performing coordinate spatial reuse for wirelessly transmitting data on a channel in coordination with another wireless AP operating an overlapping BSS using the same wireless channel. The device can perform RSSI measurements and generate Per-RU RSSI reports including the RSSI measurements information for transmission to another wireless AP. The RSSI measurement can be performed by the device based on power levels detected when receiving TB PPDUs transmitted by wireless STAs responsive to trigger frames, for example. Based on the Per-RU RSSI report, a wireless AP can be configured to transmit data to an associated wireless STA without causing significant interference when another AP of the overlapping BSS is also transmitting, and can schedule frames for transmission from associated wireless STAs accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11917433
Abstract: A method and system for generating performance measurements related to DL and UL packet delays through a NG-RAN are described. The NG-RAN receives GTP PDU monitoring packets from a UPF and, in response measures the DL delays of the packets to and UL delays from a UE. The NG-RAN determines the per 5QI and per S-NSSAI distribution of the DL and UL delays and sends the performance measurements to a service provider. The average DL and UL delays may also be provided to the service provider. The service provider is in the NG-RAN or a separate management system. For a network slice, service providers for different NG-RANs send the performance measurements to a network slice service provider, where the individual NG-RAN performance measurements are combined to provide both the average and distribution of the DL and UL delays in the network slice.
