  • Patent number: 9867135
Abstract: A frequency-generating circuit includes a frequency synthesizer circuit and a reference clock signal processor. The frequency synthesizer circuit receives a processed reference clock signal and generates a radio-frequency clock signal according to the processed reference clock signal. The reference clock signal processor receives an original reference clock signal from an oscillator and processes the original reference clock signal according to an indication signal to generate the processed reference clock signal. The indication signal is generated according to a required reference clock frequency of a communications apparatus. When the required reference clock frequency is high, a frequency of the processed reference clock signal is a multiple of a frequency of the original reference clock signal, and when the required reference clock frequency is low, the frequency of the original reference clock signal is a multiple of the frequency of the processed reference clock signal.

  • Patent number: 9860367
Abstract: Recognizing and utilizing dial patterns of a mobile electronic device includes detecting an input sequence, recording the input sequence when the input sequence is detected, and determining whether the input sequence is a reoccurring pattern. If the input sequence is a reoccurring pattern, the input sequence is stored in a repository as a dial pattern that is assigned to a call number. When a call number is detected in a dialer, the dial pattern is then presented to the dialer, and the dial pattern is dialed upon establishing a connection with the call number.

  • Patent number: 9853971
Abstract: Techniques for securing communications between fixed devices and mobile devices. A mobile device management server mediates communications between the fixed device and mobile device. The mobile device management server enrolls mobile devices and then assists with pairing the mobile devices to fixed devices in an out-of-band manner. This enrollment, coupled with out-of-band pairing, improves the speed and security of authenticating communication between fixed and mobile devices. If the mobile device has appropriate capabilities, the mobile device management server may request that the mobile device obtain and verify biometric data from a user prior to enrollment and performing authentication procedures.
