Abstract: A press-activated electronic component discharging facilitating apparatus is proposed, which is designed for use with a battery-powered electronic component, such as a CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) memory unit installed on a computer motherboard, for providing the CMOS memory unit with a user-operated press-activated discharging facilitating function, and which is characterized by the capability of allowing the user to facilitate the discharging of the CMOS memory unit simply by pressing the battery cell used to power the CMOS memory unit, without having to dismount the battery cell from the motherboard and flip hardware jumpers as in the case of prior art. This feature allows the discharging process of the CMOS memory to be carried out more conveniently and efficiently.

Abstract: A module connecting arrangement for mounting a module on a support rail includes a horizontal rectangular housing containing a longitudinal chamber, and a bottom surface that contains a recess for transversely receiving the support rail, the recess being in communication with the chamber. A pair of horizontal, superimposed, slidably-connected locking slide members are longitudinally mounted in the chamber. The slide members are spring-biased together toward a locking position in which integral opposed locking lip portions thereon extend below outwardly directed horizontal flange portions of the support rail. A separating member having a non-circular cross-section is rotatably connected with the housing and extends into a gap defined between spaced opposing walls on the slide members, whereby rotation of the separating members produces displacement of the slide members toward released positions relative to the support rail.
Abstract: A projection clock includes a base unit that includes a power supply, a clock circuit powered by the power supply, and a wireless transmitter for wirelessly transmitting time information provided by the clock circuit. Also, a projection unit, separate from the base unit, includes a projection circuit and a wireless receiver for wirelessly receiving the transmitted time information, based on which the projection circuit operatively projects the time.
Abstract: A watch with an analog time display has at least one minute hand and one hour hand. This watch is moreover equipped with a fly back hand mechanism which has at least one minute fly back hand and/or hour fly back hand located coaxially to the hands of the normal time display. In the normal mode, the fly back hand or hands is/are moved synchronously with the hands of the normal time display and relative to them in an overlapping position. They can be stopped in a timer mode for marking of any instant of time and after expiry of any time interval, for again synchronously running with the hands of the normal time display. The actuated coupling of the fly back hand mechanism is located preferably non-coaxially to the axis of the motion work of the watch.

Abstract: In an analog electrical timepiece with a motor coil, when an external operating member is in a prescribed operating condition, the operating mode of the analog electrical timepiece is set to the data receive mode. Next, the analog timepiece generates a synchronization signal which is in synchronized to an external synchronization signal that is input from outside. Then, the analog electrical timepiece, when the operating mode is the data receive mode by the detection circuit, based on a synchronization signal and a data voltage signal that is a voltage signal induced around the motor coil by a data signal input from outside, generates and outputs a receive data.
Abstract: An electron source forming substrate comprises an insulating material film provided on a substrate surface, where an electron-emitting device is arranged. The insulating material film contains a metallic oxide and has a vacancy, so that the vacancy suppresses diffusion of Na from a substrate thereunder, thereby electron-emitting characteristic is maintained stable without adverse effect due to Na even after long time operation.

Abstract: A cooking appliance has a timer removably attached to the cooking appliance by a dove-tail joint. The cooking appliance has a lid with a lid handle located on a top of the lid. The lid handle has a first portion of the dove-tail joint and the timer has a second portion of the dove-tail joint. The timer is removably attachable to the cooking appliance by aligning and engaging the first portion of the dove-tail joint of the timer with the second portion of the dove-tail joint of the lid handle. The display and controls are located on a top of the timer. A bottom portion of the timer includes the second portion of the dove-tail joint, and the bottom portion of the timer has a substantially planar bottom surface forming a stable base for the timer when the timer is in a detached state. The bottom portion of the timer extends below the controls of the timer to provide stability for the timer when the timer is operated in the detached state.
Abstract: A watch apparatus includes a wristwatch that includes a watch housing with a face, a back side and a peripheral edge. A wristband is attached to the peripheral edge. A bezel is rotatably mounted to the watch housing and extends around the face. A motor is mounted on the peripheral wall of the watch housing. A gear assembly is mechanically coupled to the motor. The motor is adapted for rotating the gear assembly. The gear assembly is in communication with the bezel so that the bezel rotates when the motor is turned on. A processor is electrically coupled to the motor. A heat sensor is mounted on the back side and is electrically coupled to the processor. The processor turns on the motor when the heat sensor detects heat above 80 degrees. The processor turns off the motor when the heat sensor detects a temperature less than 80 degrees.

Abstract: A time measurement device includes a power generator 2, secondary power source 31, current time counters 922 and 932, receiver circuit 42 for receiving a time standard radio wave, time display means 5 for displaying the current time, power detector 83 for outputting a power detection signal when the power generator 2 is in a power generating state or when a voltage stored in the secondary power source 31 is at a predetermined voltage value, operation mode switcher 874 switching, in response to the power detection signal, between a power saving mode in which time display is suspended and a standard mode in which time display is not suspended. The operation mode switcher 874 causes the time display means 5 to display the current time based on the time information counted by the time counters 922 and 932 and the time information received by the receiver circuit in response to the device being switched from the power saving mode to the standard mode.
Abstract: The present invention provides an assembly structure of electronic card comprising two cover bodies. Bent portions are formed at two ends of each of the cover bodies. A plurality of positioning pieces each having an interference piece on the outer surface thereof are extended from one of the bent portions. The other bent portion is bent inwards to form a bent piece with a slot formed at the front end of the bottom face thereof. A hook body is extended from behind the slot and the bottom face of the bent piece. A plurality of connection holes are formed at the boundary between the hook body and the bent piece. Insertion pieces are formed at two sides of the font end of the cover bodies. Two ends of a frame are extended to form clamping arms having positioning grooves for clamping a connector. The two cover bodies sheathe a circuit board up and down. The positioning pieces are retained in the slot and the connection holes to engage the two cover bodies.
