Abstract: A secure document printing and delivery management system includes one or more print delivery vehicles, each of which includes an onboard print device. When the system receives a print job from a requesting device, it will select a print delivery vehicle instruct the print delivery vehicle to navigate to a delivery location. Upon arrival at the delivery location, the system will detect and verify a security token presented by a recipient. In response to detecting and verifying the token, the system may print the document (if not already printed) and it will present the document to the recipient.
Abstract: Systems and methods relate generally to contextual features for a printing device. In an example method thereof, features of a printing device configuration are queried by a firmware service. The features obtained by a first dynamic scheduling service associated with the printing device are packaged. The features packaged are retrieved to provide a features list thereof by a second dynamic scheduling service for a driver associated with the printing device. Dynamic scheduling data is generated by an artificial intelligence service including deactivating one or more of the features responsive to a policy. The generating of the dynamic scheduling data includes filtering the features using the policy by the artificial intelligence service. A dynamic user interface is created by the second dynamic scheduling service responsive to the dynamic scheduling data.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus comprises a processor configured to: authenticate a user designated as a utilizer of a document; enable the authenticated user to instruct a processing apparatus to perform processing of the document, the processing apparatus being different from the information processing apparatus; and disable the authenticated user to access the document from the information processing apparatus.
Abstract: The printer may receive first user identification information from an external device and receive a registration request including first print setting information from the external device. In a first case where the first user identification information and the registration request are received from the external device and registration related information associated with the first user identification information among the one or more user identification information in a memory is permission information, the printer may register the first print setting information included in the registration request in the memory in association with the first user identification information. In a second case where the first user identification information and the registration request are received from the external device and the registration related information associated with the first user identification information is restriction information, the first print setting information is not registered in the memory.
Abstract: A determination is made as to whether priority is given to a print setting or a print preset by a general-purpose print service performed on an information processing apparatus. This makes it possible to resolve a conflict in settings.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a processor configured to: transmit an inquiry as to whether or not printing of print data is allowed to an authenticated terminal when the print data are received from an external terminal, the authenticated terminal having an authority to perform printing and the external terminal being not registered in advance as the authenticated terminal; and make preparation to print the print data when a permission to print the print data is received from the authenticated terminal.
Abstract: A printing system for processing entries in a distributed ledger manages documents or transactions based on printing or scanning operations. A computing platform within the system receives a first entry having a variable set of data. The computing platform determines a partial chain hash of the first entry using the variable set of data. The computing platform generates at least one additional entry having at least one additional variable set of data. The computing platform updates the partial chain hash with the at least one additional variable set of data of the at least one additional entry. The computing platform generates a block having a block header for a blockchain using the partial chain hash when a condition is met. The block includes transactions or documents to be printed at a printing device using the distributed ledger.
Abstract: An information processing system includes a server including a memory that stores a registered feature value of data and first circuitry, and an image processing apparatus connectable via a network to the server. The image processing apparatus includes second circuitry to extract a feature value from data and transmit the feature value to the server. The first circuitry receives the feature value transmitted from the image processing apparatus, outputs an output setting depending on whether the received feature value matches the registered feature value in the memory, and transmits the output setting to the image processing apparatus. The second circuitry receives, from the server, the output setting associated with the feature value, and instructs an image forming device to form an image based on the output setting.
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to storing a print job comprising a time restriction and a location restriction, receiving a request to retrieve the print job for printing, determining whether the time restriction and the location restriction are satisfied by the request, and in response to determining that the time restriction and the location restriction are satisfied by the request, providing the print job for printing.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an interface and a control circuit. The interface is configured to connect a contactless card reader. The control circuit is configured to acquire identification information read from an information recording medium by the contactless card reader and to decrease a field intensity level of the contactless card reader in response to a success of authentication of the identification information.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus, includes: an image generator; a motion sensor; a login-logout processor; a display; a console; a memory; an on-hold setting receiver that receives a setting to either hold or cancel a set value not completely entered, when the motion sensor is not able to detect the user; and a controller that controls the image generator, the motion sensor, the login-logout processor, the display, the console, the memory, and the on-hold setting receiver. The controller causes the memory to store the set value not completely entered and switches a setting screen if the on-hold setting receiver is set to hold the setting not completely entered when the motion sensor is not able to detect the user while the display displays the setting screen, and cancels the set value not completely entered and switches the setting screen if the on-hold setting receiver is set to cancel the setting not completely entered.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus described in an exemplary embodiment of the present invention acquires a first token used to acquire information about print data that a user instructs the image forming apparatus to print while specifying a first server system from the first server system, acquires a second token used to acquire information about print data that the user instructs the image forming apparatus to print while specifying a second server system from the second server system, receives an instruction to display information about print data stored in an external server system from the user, and acquires information about first print data stored in the first server system using the first token and also acquires information about second print data stored in the second server system using the second token according to the instruction.
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method capable of executing all print jobs stored in an image processing apparatus and associated with a user without troubling the user. A button capable of executing all print jobs associated with a login user is displayed on a display unit of the image processing apparatus.
Abstract: In a server device, a memory is configured to store a folder corresponding to each of a plurality of users. User permissions are set for the folder to indicate whether access to the folder is allowed. A client device is configured to perform transmitting print data to the server device. The print data is associated with identification information for identifying a user. A set of program instructions causes the server device to perform: in response to receiving the print data from the client device, storing the print data in the folder corresponding to the user identified by the identification information associated with the print data. A printer is configured to perform: receiving an input of the identification information; identifying the folder corresponding to the user identified by the identification information; acquiring the print data stored in the folder; and printing an image based on the print data.
Abstract: There is disclosed a method for management of printing jobs. In the method user identification is requested to identify the user, who then selects an artwork for the labels. Data regarding the selected artwork is retrieved from a data storage. Printing properties are defined for the selected artwork, and a set of available unique codes for the labels is determined on the basis of the user identification. A printing file is constructed including information related to at least the selected artwork and printing material selected for the printing job. The printing file is stored into a cloud storage linked with the identified user. A unique code is assigned for each label from the set of available unique codes. The unique code is assigned either in the printing file or when printing the labels.
Abstract: Systems and methods for secure transfer of printed documents from a print device to a user are disclosed. The systems may include a print device and a drone. The print device may also include an output tray configured to receive documents processed by the print device. The system may receive a print request from the user and determine whether the print request will result in a printed document that should be kept confidential. If printed document that should be kept confidential, the system may generate and transmit a first authentication information to the user. The system may then cause the print device to execute the print request and output the printed document to the output tray. A drone may then transfer the printed document from the print device to the user, and authenticate the user before allowing the user to access the printed document.

Abstract: A method for printing documents with security elements carried out by two separate, computer-supported systems. The computer-supported systems each have a printing system with a printing machine and a security system that perform steps of preparing a document with placeholders for the security elements in the image data by the computer of the security system, and transmitting the document to the printing system. The image data is converted into an output color space of the printing machine by the computer of the printing system, and the document is transmitted to the security system. The security elements are generated, and replacement of the placeholders with the security elements by the computer of the security system is performed. The document is transmitted to the printing system. The finished document is printed with the security elements by the printing machine of the printing system.
