Abstract: A training simulation system and method for detection of hazardous materials simulates real-world hazardous environments to provide a trainee with hazardous material training. The system provides a hazardous material detection simulator that displays simulated readings to indicate presence thereof. The detection simulator automatically generates the simulated readings, based on its relative position to the hazard point, and based on preprogrammed hazard points in the area. A host trainer, through a trainer communication device, remotely generates and adjusts the simulated readings while tracking vehicle's position. A vehicle integrally contains the hazardous material detection simulator. A trainee controls the vehicle while also observing and reacting to the simulated readings. Once the hazard point is determined, based on simulated readings, the trainee can form a decision on the readings and react accordingly.

The artificial thorax (1) has a CO2 source (10) containing gaseous CO2, such as a gas cylinder, connected fluidically (11) to the internal volume (3) of the deformable air reservoir (2) in such a way as to supply said internal volume (3) with gaseous CO2.
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to methods and systems for classifying the possession or control of a target asset. One example provides a system comprising one or more computing devices having processors and associated memories storing instructions executable by the processors. The instructions are executable to conduct a simulation or observation of an in-field event comprising a plurality of actors controlling a plurality of in-field assets. The system is further configured to monitor telemetry data from each of the in-field assets. In addition, tagging data is received from an in-field asset under the control of a member of the friendly group. A training data set is generated including the telemetry data and the tagging data, and an artificial intelligence model is trained to predict whether a run-time target asset is in the possession or control of the friendly or the unfriendly actor, or lost, based on run-time telemetry data.
Abstract: A live virtual constructive (LVC) gateway system is configured to transparently separate, merge, and route data traffic between operator systems, live tactical Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) systems, and simulated tactical LRU systems. The LVC gateway is configured to receive LRU commands from an operator system, parse, the commands, and reconstruct the commands suitable for transmission to live or simulated tactical LRU systems. The LVC gateway is also configured to receive live and simulated status and target data from live tactical LRU and simulated tactical LRU systems, respectively, and merge the data for transmission to an operator system.

Abstract: A camera system for defining an inspection space including one or more cameras placed in proximity to a sink or wash station. The camera system is configured such that points within the defined inspection space are visible and may be recorded, but objects outside the defined inspection space are blurred or invisible. This is accomplished by selecting depth of field or by attaching a computing device that is programmed to not record or save information from parts of the image.

Abstract: Systems and methods include providing a virtual reality (“VR”) flight emulator system that simulates control, operation, and response of a vehicle. The flight emulator includes a control interface and a head-mounted display worn by a user. Motion, orientation, and/or forces experienced by the simulated vehicle are imparted to a user through a motion-control seat. Multiple flight emulators can be connected to a communication network, and a master flight emulator may teleport into a slave flight emulator in order to observe, overtake, override, and/or assume control of the slave flight emulator. Inputs made via the control interface of the master flight emulator or during playback of a pre-recorded training exercise or flight mission are translated into the control interface, head-mounted display, and motion-control seat of the slave flight emulator to provide real-time feedback to the user of the slave flight emulator.
