    Abstract: The dielectric antenna device of the present invention is a dielectric antenna device having at least one feed element that is buried in a dielectric. The interval between the end portion of the feed element and the end face of the dielectric in a direction passing through the end portion of the feed element from a feeding point thereof is substantially 1/20 or more of the wavelength of a wireless signal that is formed within the dielectric. This constitution provides a dielectric antenna device that has stabilized resonance frequency.

Each antenna element pair has at least one associated resistance element (1, 2, 3, 4) whose resistance value is dependent on the field strength and on the direction of the magnetic field, and which resistance element (1, 2, 3, 4) is arranged in a field area (19) which extends between the two antenna elements (11, 12, 13, 14) of the antenna element pair. The invention also relates to a method for production of an apparatus which is intended for detection of the gradient of a magnetic field.

    Abstract: An antenna for generating electron spin radiation corresponding to a signal from a radio frequency communications device includes a substantially cylindrical conductor, a first spiral-wound flat inductor, a second spiral-wound flat inductor and a reactive element. The first spiral-wound flat inductor is wound in relation to the second spiral-wound flat inductor so that when a current flows from the first signal terminal to the second signal terminal, a first magnetic field is generated from the first spiral-wound flat inductor and a second magnetic field is generated from the second spiral-wound flat inductor. The first magnetic field is in an opposite direction from the second magnetic field. The substantially cylindrical conductor is disposed so as to intersect the first magnetic field and the second magnetic field. The antenna may also be used to receive electron spin radiation.
