The application repository comprises a first computer having a processor and a memory, a data store, a plurality of applications stored in the data store, and a billing apportionment module stored in the memory. Each application contains an instruction to invoke a run-time license tracking application programming interface (API), the plurality of applications comprising a first application.

Abstract: A display enabled RFID tag (DERT) receives transaction details from the reader. DERT verifies that the details match their counterparts in the reader public key certificate. The process is aborted in case of a mismatch. DERT extracts and displays user-verifiable data. It then enters a countdown stage that lasts for a predetermined duration. A user observes the transaction information and, if the transaction amount and other details are deemed correct, presses an accept button provided on the DERT before the timer runs out. DERT signs the time-stamped transaction statement and sends it to the reader. This signed statement is then sent to the payment gateway and eventually to the financial institution that issued the payment DERT.

Abstract: An arrangement is provided where a media server temporarily stores a DRM license that is associated with downloaded media content prior to copying the DRM license to a physical archival medium such as an optical disc. When the media server confirms that the DRM license is successfully copied to the physical archival medium, it destroys the temporarily stored DRM license.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for authenticating and efficiently re-authenticating a user with a financial institution in order to gain access to account information using a web-enabled device. The web-enabled device stores user profiles associated with the user including authentication information provided by the user during primary authentication. The device retrieves the authentication information upon secondary authentication, that is, validation of the user's identity, which in some embodiments, includes local validation of a personal identification number (“PIN”) and/or a remote control passcode (“RCP”). As such, the web-enabled device re-authenticates the user without requiring authentication communication with a financial institution server, and thereafter, the user interacts with an application running on the web-enabled device to retrieve desired account information from the financial institution server.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating transactions utilizing phrase tokens are provided. Individual entities can be associated with unambiguous transaction phrase tokens, such as multiple word phrases. The transaction phrase tokens are associated with transaction accounts by a service provider such that the entities can complete a transaction without having to exchange transaction account information. In a transaction, a transaction phrase token is offered to an accepting party, which tenders the offered transaction phrase token to the service provider. The service provider processes the offered transaction phrase token according to configuration information specified for the transaction phrase token. The service provider can automatically process the transaction request or request additional information.

Abstract: The present invention uses invisible junctions which are a set of local features unique to every page of the electronic document to match the captured image to a part of an electronic document. The present invention includes: an image capture device, a feature extraction and recognition system and database. When an electronic document is printed, the feature extraction and recognition system captures an image of the document page. The features in the captured image are then extracted, indexed and stored in the database. Given a query image, the features in the query image are extracted and compared against those stored in the database to identify the query image. The feature extraction and recognition system of the present invention is integrated into a multifunction peripheral. This allows the feature extraction and recognition system to be used in conjunction with other modules to provide security and annotation applications.

Abstract: A configuration system and method is disclosed that includes a unified and integrated configuration that is composed of a payment system, an advertising system, and an identity management system such that the unified system has all of the benefits of the individual systems as well as several additional synergistic benefits. Also described are specific configurations including the system's access point architecture, visual wallet simulator user interface, security architecture, coupon handling as well as the system's structure and means for delivering them as targeted advertising, business card handling, membership card handling for the purposes of login management, receipt handling, and the editors and grammars provided for customizing the different types of objects in the system as well as the creation of new custom objects with custom behaviors. The configurations are operable on-line as well as through physical presence transactions.

Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for providing access to documents requiring a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in an online document sharing community. A document request is received from a requesting participant at a requesting participant computer comprising one of the participant computers in the network environment. In response to receiving the document request, an access page is returned to the requesting participant computer including a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) requesting that the requesting participant accept terms of the NDA in order to access the content of the document in the storage system. The content of the document is returned to the requesting participant computer in response to receiving indication from the requesting participant computer accepting the terms of the NDA.

Abstract: Gaming devices with virtualization managers are described herein. In one embodiment, a gaming device includes a plurality of operating systems, each of the operating systems to facilitate execution of one or more gaming applications. The gaming device also includes gaming device resources for use by ones of the plurality of operating systems and a virtualization manager to share the gaming device resources between the plurality of operating systems during virtually simultaneous execution of the plurality of operating systems.

Abstract: Access to documents by parties can be controlled as follows. First, access can be controlled in accordance with access counters associated with the parties, where the documents have one or more versions. Second, access can be controlled in accordance with access levels associated with the parties. The access level of each party is one of a first access level, a second access level, a third access level, or a fourth access level. The first, second, third, and fourth access levels are ordered from the first access level to the fourth access level such that the first access level provides a greatest degree of access to the documents and the fourth access level provides a least degree of access to the documents. Third, access can be controlled in accordance with placement of organizations within a hierarchy of organizations, where the parties are organized over the organizations.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards protecting against polymorphic cheat codes in a video game environment. A detour analyzer analyzes game code in client memory for possible hooks to parasite code. For each detected hook to parasite code, hook and/or parasite information is determined to generate a hook/parasite signatures, which are sent to a remote network device. Based on the hook/parasite signatures a weighted combination of scores are generated that is useable to determine a probability value that the parasite code is cheat code. If the determined probability value indicates cheat code, the user of the client device may be banned from future game play. Additionally, the hook/parasite signature information may be used to update the data store to detect polymorphic changes in the cheat code.

Abstract: Examples of encoding and decoding a watermark for a digital image and to using the watermark for authenticating the digital image are disclosed. The examples may include embedding a chaotic watermark in a digital image and using parameters associated with source and capture information for the digital image to both generate the chaotic watermark and to authenticate the digital image.

Abstract: Embodiments of an information management system and related methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, the system collects social media contents and metadata from social media networks or other sources. The system then enhances the received social media data with location and other information. Furthermore, the system receives business data and information regarding business goals from a business intelligence platform owned or operated by a business entity. To satisfy the business goals, the system sorts, filters, or otherwise processes the enhanced social media data to extract business intelligence that reflect the sentiment and behavior patterns of social media users in connection to the operations, products, or services of the business entity.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for processing electronic payments for retail services and goods delivered by a retail establishment. In embodiments, a mobile wallet application is installed in the automobile. The automobile wallet application can receive and/or send transaction and payment information over a near field communication system to a retailer and on to an authorizing authority. The authorizing authority receives the payment and transaction information, authorizes or declines the payment of the transaction, and forwards the authorization or declination to the automobile wallet application. If authorized, the retailer provides the retail good or service.

Abstract: A real-time fraud prevention system enables merchants and commercial organizations on-line to assess and protect themselves from high-risk users. A centralized database is configured to build and store dossiers of user devices and behaviors collected from subscriber websites in real-time. Real, low-risk users have webpage click navigation behaviors that are assumed to be very different than those of fraudsters. Individual user devices are distinguished from others by hundreds of points of user-device configuration data each independently maintains. A client agent provokes user devices to volunteer configuration data when a user visits respective webpages at independent websites. A collection of comprehensive dossiers of user devices is organized by their identifying information, and used calculating a fraud score in real-time. Each corresponding website is thereby assisted in deciding whether to allow a proposed transaction to be concluded with the particular user and their device.
