Abstract: A set of locational information items are provided, each of which includes a set of coordinate values. These locational information items can be represented on a map including various levels of detail. A mapping application is provided which is intended to display these locational information items on various levels of detail of the map. The locational information items are clustered on certain levels of detail of the map. To cluster the locational information items, a level of detail for each LOD can be specified; a Delaunay Triangulation can be created over the set of the locational information items provided; a list of the edges associated with the Delaunay Triangulation can be generated and sorted by length; a cluster tree can be built; and the locational information items are displayed in clusters at each LOD.

Abstract: The present invention provides an image display apparatus mounted in a vehicle, which includes a communication unit for transmitting/receiving data to/from an external mobile terminal, and a controller for generating Internet access information including Internet access environment information about the image display apparatus and controlling the communication unit to transmit the generated Internet access information to the mobile terminal, wherein the Internet access information includes at least one of Internet access state information representing whether the image display apparatus is connected to the Internet, and roaming state information representing whether a roaming service is used for Internet access of the image display apparatus. According to a mobile terminal, image display apparatus mounted in a vehicle and data processing method using the same, Internet access information can be efficiently transmitted between the mobile terminal and the image display apparatus.

Abstract: A system for establishing a link from a wireless communication device (WCD) to at least one target device that is a member of a particular user group. The process of both locating the target device and establishing a link may incorporate the orientation and/or movement of the WCD into the procedure in lieu of the extensive use of traditional menu interfaces. For example, a WCD may recognize a combination of orientation and/or movement changes as a pattern for triggering activities, such as scanning for other devices. Various movement patterns may also be employed to establish a wireless link and for further interaction between users/devices in a user group.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for controlling a perceived brightness of an electronic document. In one implementation, the electronic document may be displayed on a touch screen of a terminal. A graphical object may be displayed in front of the electronic document. The terminal may detect a gesture on the touch screen and control the perceived brightness of the electronic document by adjusting an opacity of the graphical object based on the gesture.

Abstract: Described embodiments provide a method and user equipment for selectively transferring image data from user equipment to a coupled external device. The method may include determining whether user equipment is coupled to an external device, receiving selection inputs from a user for selecting at least one of applications installed in the user equipment when the user equipment is determined as being coupled to the external device, and selectively transferring image data produced in the user equipment based on the selected application. In some cases, a help system may include a help viewer module or program in communication with a computer-readable memory storing the help content data. The display of various graphical representations of the cabling scheme may facilitate various service operations associated with the cabling. Such service operations may include installation, maintenance, trouble shooting and optimization for a cabled server cluster.
