Abstract: A user controllable sleep system is provided-for, including at least one biometric sensor, a processor, memory in communication with the processor, a display in communication with the processor, and a user interface. The user interface provides landscape graphics relating to a selected soundscape comprising one or more related sounds. The user interface also has health indicia indicating health information from the biometric sensor and environmental indicia indicating environmental information received by the processor.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can present a first view of a three-dimensional user interface to a user, the first view representing a first portion of a three-dimensional space of the three-dimensional user interface. A first user input is received to modify the first view. The first view is modified based on the first user input to present a second view of the three-dimensional user interface, the second view representing a second portion of the three-dimensional space different from the first portion. The first portion comprises a first application window, and the second portion does not include the first application window.

Abstract: A computing device receives a request to render a listing of item entries on a graphical user interface. The computing device receives an electronic image of the document, analyzes the electronic image, and determines a document type by performing an image recognition on a first portion the electronic image, comparing information extrapolated via the image recognition algorithm to a database of document types, and identifying a match between the extrapolated information a document type. The computing device applies an OCR algorithm that corresponds to the determined document type to a second portion of the electronic image, and identifies items extracted from the second portion. The computing device renders the listing of item entries on the graphical user interface of the user computing device, the listing of items comprising a listing of each item extracted from the second portion of the electronic image.

The apparatus provides a selection mechanism configured to select the at least one UI content to be placed in the at least one placeholder.

Abstract: Techniques for providing merchant slot availability management using graphical user interfaces for mobile devices are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a mobile device with processing circuitry configured to generate a multi-level graphical user interface (mGUI), and provide the mGUI to a touch screen display of the mobile device. The processing circuitry may be further configured to monitor a touch screen for various predefined user inputs for traversing tiered levels, and updating the mGUI. The mGUI may be used to implement interfaces various mobile device interfaces used for organizing hierarchal or structured data. For example, the mGUI may be used to implement a merchant slot management interface that allows merchants to dynamically adjust slot availability and associated properties, manage slots such as by creating tabs, or generate promotions for available slots.

The display may include thumbnail images for selected groups of programs, and the images may be positioned in a pseudo-random location, and moved along a randomly generated trajectory on the display.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally discloses a vehicle marking capability configured to support marking of vehicles in a vehicle management system. The vehicle marking capability is configured to support marking of vehicles in a graphical user interface (GUI) that is supported by a vehicle management application that is supported by the vehicle management system. The vehicle marking capability may be configured to support marking of various vehicle measures of vehicles for various vehicle types which may be managed by the vehicle management system. The vehicle marking capability may be configured to support marking of vehicle measures for vehicles using measure objects having lengths that are based on the vehicle measures (e.g., using linear scaling, logarithmic scaling, or the like). The vehicle marking capability may be configured to support marking of vehicle altitudes for aerial vehicles using altitude columns having column heights that are based on the vehicle altitudes.

Abstract: A system and method are described for changing window's functionality upon detecting resizing events. According to one example method, a plurality of size thresholds is defined that are associated with a plurality of functional states for a window. Upon detecting that a size of a window reaches a first size threshold, a first functional state is applied to a window. Then, upon detecting another size threshold as the window is being increased or decreased in size, another functional state associated with the detected threshold is applied to the window.

Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, to systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features and improved user interfaces. For instance, a smart search may be provided, e.g., where search results vary based on the popularity of songs within the venue, in dependence on songs being promoted, etc. As another example, a tile-based approach to organizing groupings of songs is provided. Groupings may involve self-populating collections of songs that combine centrally-promoted songs, songs in a given genre that are popular across an audiovisual distribution network, and songs that are locally popular and match up with the given genre (e.g., because of shared attributes such as same or similar genre, artist, etc.). Different tile visual presentations also are contemplated, as are different physical jukebox designs. In certain example embodiments, a sealed core unit with the “brains” of the jukebox is insertable into a docking station.

Abstract: A client application of a device collects presence information and other interaction information from an application viewing a content item synchronized with a content management system. The interaction information indicates interactions of a device with respect to a content item. The client application receives presence information from other devices synchronized to the content item and displays a presence indicator in a user interface element. The presence indicator is displayed relative to a user interface element of the application viewing the content item. The displayed presence information may inform the user that other users are editing or viewing the content item, and may permit the user to receive notifications when another user's presence has changed to a particular status.

Abstract: A system and method for generating a personalized playlist is provided. A plurality of media tracks from a user device of a user is received. The plurality of media tracks is analyzed for metadata and the metadata is assigned to the media tracks in the plurality of media tracks. One or more user attributes of the user is generated. The one or more user attributes includes a first time period when the user is between 20 and 30 years old. The metadata of the media tracks is compared to the one or more user attributes. The metadata includes metadata for relevant dates of media tracks. The relevant dates include a date of performance of the media tracks and are compared to the first time period. A target mood for generating a playlist is generated. A playlist is generated based on the target mood and based on the comparison of the metadata to the one or more attributes.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure are directed to facilitating control of a graphical user interface associated with performing a medical procedure. Inputs can be received from a plurality of input devices interacting with respective sets of input options displayed on respective portions of the graphical user interface. One of the input devices can be operable by a physician, during a medical procedure, to navigate a set of input options to modify a graphical representation of at least one of a medical device and an anatomic structure displayed on the graphical user interface.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing a user interface provides a first user interface mode, and can switch to a second user interface mode if it receives a user command instructing to switch the mode to the second user interface mode which has a different user command input method from the first user interface mode. In the switching process, the apparatus is configured to reset a recognition pattern to distinguish a smaller number of user input types than the number of the user input types distinguishable in the first UI mode.
