Abstract: A touch control method and apparatus for a function key, and a storage medium are provided. The touch control method includes: determining a current handheld operation mode of a terminal, the handheld operation mode including at least one of a left hand operation mode, a right hand operation mode and a double hand operation mode; determining an operation area corresponding to the current handheld operation mode, activating a surface touch control function of the operation area and displaying the function key in the operation area; and determining whether a user performs a touch control operation on the function key in the operation area, according to a touch position of the user in the operation area and a position of the function key.

Abstract: A method includes: displaying a first view of a first application; detecting a first portion of a first input; if the first portion of the first input meets application-switching criteria, concurrently displaying portions of the first application view and a second application view; while concurrently displaying the portions of the application views, detecting a second portion of the first input; if the second portion of the first input meets first-view display criteria (liftoff of contact detected in a first region), ceasing to display the portion of the second application view and displaying the first application view; and if the second portion of the first input meets multi-view display criteria (liftoff of contact detected in a second region), maintaining concurrent display of a portion of the first application view and a portion of the second application view on the display after detecting the liftoff of the contact.

Abstract: A system can connect multiple disparate web products and services through a common interface. Each product can function with or without other plugins as the features are dynamic based on what plugins are available. Desktops for contact centers can provide dynamic adjustment for given usage contexts. Secure electronic communication between parties reduce exposure to a man-in-the-middle attack within a contact center deployment equipped with interactive voice response functionality.

Abstract: An image forming device includes; a control unit acting as a display control section, an operation receiving section and a controller; and a display section having a touch panel function of sensing proximity and contact of an object to and with a display screen. The display control section displays an operation image in which icons are arranged on the display screen. When the operation receiving section receives a user operation of instructing execution of a function of one of the icons, the controller executes the function. After the operation receiving section receives a user operation of putting an object close to one of the icons, when the state where the object is close to the icon continues for a predetermined time, the display control section displays an explanatory image including the icon and an explanatory note describing the function of the icon in the whole area of the display screen.

Exemplary user interfaces related to activity competitions are described. Exemplary user interfaces related to a friends list for activity sharing are described. Exemplary user interfaces associated with alerts presented to a user in response to automatically determining a boundary of a workout are described. Exemplary user interfaces associated with configuring a pace alert for a workout application are described.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for a multimode graphical user interface (GUI), where a first mode of the GUI uses an unguided navigation model and a second mode uses a guided navigation model in which the GUI is distilled down to only its most critical elements. This may be achieved by sequentially displaying a single user interface element and removing all other user-interface elements of the GUI. The second mode of the GUI may lead a user through multiple options one at a time, thus creating a guided navigation model. The second mode may be initiated upon detecting a certain event (e.g., a period of inactivity, an explicit command from the user, etc.). The multimode GUI may be used to guide a user through one or more recommended items of media content from one or more different content-providing sources.

For a selected slide, the user interface may present one or more shape threads associated with the selected slide. Each shape displayed on the selected slide may be associated with a particular shape thread, and a user may independently adjust one or more slide transition attributes of a shape via the associated shape thread.

Abstract: An electronic device may display a first lap time representation, and may move the first lap time representation in accordance with a first amount of elapsed time. While moving the first lap time representation, the electronic device may detect a lap input. In response to the lap input, the electronic device may cease movement of the first lap time representation, display a second lap time representation, and move the second lap time representation in accordance with a second amount of elapsed time. A relative positioning of the first lap time representation and the second lap time representation may correspond to a difference between a first lap time and a second lap time. Abstract: Systems and methods for sequencing electronic files include generating a first file sequence and one or more alternative file sequences. An alternative file sequence may be generated based in part on a characteristic of a file in the first sequence. The first and alternative sequences may be used in an electronic slideshow that allows a user to switch between file sequences. In some implementations, which alternative file sequences are generated may be determined based in part on a prediction of characteristics that may be of interest to a user.

Abstract: Systems, computer implemented methods, and computer readable medium having program products are provided to customize by a user weather-risk products and to provide a customized weather-risk product to be purchased by user. Embodiments of a system include a tract-user computer having a display to display graphical user interfaces to a user and an input to receive user selections, the tract-user computer being connected to a communications network to receive graphical user interfaces and transmit user selections to a weather-risk product issuer computer. Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for identifying and recommending events of interest in real-time media content. Individual ones of multiple media content streams are analyzed to determine whether events of interest are occurring in real-time. It is then determined that an event of interest is occurring in real-time in a particular media content stream of the multiple media content streams. A user interface is generated that recommends the particular media content stream based at least in part on the event of interest.

Abstract: In an electronic file system, preview information is provided to the user during a drag operation of a selected object onto a target object. The information indicates what type(s) of action is to be taken should the selected object be dropped onto the target object. The action(s) to be taken may depend upon the type of the selected object and/or the type of the target object. For example, where the selected object is an item and the target object is a persisted auto-list, the action may include adding, removing, or modifying one or more properties of the selected object to conform to one or more criteria defined by the persisted auto-list. Abstract: Provided are a device and a method which facilitate continued focusing of a user on specific content information even when said specific content information has been moved off the display screen by scrolling or page transitioning. Focus content information, which is identified from content information displayed on the display screen of the terminal device, is set in advance as content information for user focus. Then, in response to user operations which transition said focus content information out of the display area, copy content information, being a copy of said focus content information, is displayed for a certain period of time on the display screen of said terminal device.

Abstract: A method for operating an electronic device includes determining whether a preset triggering condition is satisfied; when satisfying the preset triggering condition, requesting extended page data corresponding to the triggering condition, from either a server or a connectable device; and receiving the requested data from either the server or the connectable device, and adding and displaying at least one page in a home screen.

Abstract: Instant messaging, also known as chat, is integrated with electronic mail in a user interface that provides for automatic completion of recipient names or addresses, such as email addresses or chat addresses, as a user types characters of the name or address when addressing a message. The automatic completion feature displays a list of matches, which are names or addresses in, for example, the user's online contact list, that match the characters the user types. The matches list may contain names or addresses for multiple different communication methods. The user may then select one of the names or addresses to compose a message to be sent to the selected name or address. A user interface is then provided for composing a message to be sent to the selected name or address using the communication protocol associated with the selected name or address.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided and include receiving, at a user device, a first user input from a user, the first user input selecting an application icon displayed at the user device. In response to receiving the first user input, the user device launches the native application and sets the native application into the home state. The user device receives a second user input configured to set the native application into a state of the native application other than the home state. In response to receiving the second user input, the user device sets the native application into the other state using the user device. The user device determines that the user frequently sets the native application into the other state, and configures the application icon to, upon being selected, cause the user device to launch the native application and set the native application into the other state.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and products manage events in an electronic calendar. A calendar event may be associated with a rule, with the rule comprising a reminder and a date and a time of expiration. After the date and time of the expiration, the electronic calendar ceases to present the reminder. That is, no reminders of expired events are visually/audibly presented by the electronic calendar.
