  • Patent number: 11645898
Abstract: A multi sensor detection and disabling lock system includes detector cases for holding interchangeable detectors that sample for chemical, biological and radiological compounds, agents and elements, with each detector case disposed in or upon the monitored product. The detector case transmits detection information to a monitoring computer terminal and transmits a signal to a lock disabler engaged to the product to lock or disable the product's lock thereby preventing untrained, unauthorized and unequipped individuals from gaining access and entry to the product, and also preventing further contamination of the area. The detection system can be interconnected to surveillance towers scanning detector cases disposed at seaport docks, freight depots and rail terminals for monitoring containers being prepared for shipment or sitting on docks for long periods of time.

  • Patent number: 11571133
Abstract: Technologies for monitoring a health-risk condition of a user include a virtual reality compute device having one or more near infrared (NIR) sensors. The virtual reality compute device presents a virtual reality (VR) presentation to the user. The virtual reality compute device produces sensor data through the one or more NIR sensors that is indicative of a heart rate of the user and a blood pressure of the user while the VR presentation is presented to the user. The virtual reality compute device determines whether the user is in a health-risk condition based on a comparison of the heart rate of the user to a heart rate safety threshold and a comparison of the blood pressure of the user to a blood pressure safety threshold. The virtual reality compute device performs a health-risk condition response in response to a determination that the user is in the health-risk condition.

  • Patent number: 11547371
Abstract: Various embodiments described herein relate to an intelligent warning system in a communication service. One embodiment of the present invention analyzes a user's biometric signals and image data of one of the users in a communication session to determine a distress level. In addition, location data indicating the user's velocity and direction can be used to determine a distress level. If the biometric signals or the image data indicate a distress level that meets or exceeds a threshold level, a notification is automatically sent to a remote user. This can allow a remote user to render assistance to a user in distress, even when the user is unable to communicate one or more conditions.

  • Patent number: 11550385
Abstract: A surface of a vehicle component can be dynamically deformable surface. The dynamically deformable surface can be configured to undergo deformations to dynamically form a dynamic button or other user interface element on demand. The dynamically deformable surface can include one or more biosensors. When a user engages the dynamic button with a portion of the body, the one or more biosensors can acquire user biodata. The user biodata can be used by the vehicle as input for various purposes. For instance, the vehicle can operate as a health-monitoring and/or comfort monitoring system. As a result of these arrangements, buttons and other user interface elements can appear and disappear depending on the need and/or application, providing a cleaner vehicle cockpit interface and greatly expanding the possibilities of where such buttons can be located at and how many things can be controlled by the driver using physical interfaces.

  • Patent number: 11514683
Abstract: An on-board outside recognition apparatus extracts a feature point from an image including an environment around a user's own vehicle, measures a three-dimensional position of the feature point based on movement of the feature point tracked in time series on the image and calculates a foot position of the feature point on the image from the three-dimensional position of the feature point is performed. Then, the on-board outside recognition apparatus extracts a road surface area where the user's own vehicle can travel, from the image using a degree of similarity of a texture of the image, and judges a feature point the foot position of which is judged not to be included in the road surface area to be highly reliable.
