  • Patent number: 6581254
Abstract: The present invention provides a zipper's pull hook structure having a replaceable pull sheet. The pull hook comprises a first ring portion, a second ring portion, a hook portion, and a resilient sheet portion, which are integrally formed. The first ring portion and the second ring portion are folded and stacked together. The hook portion is bent into a hook shape, and has an opening. The resilient sheet portion is situated at the opening of the hook portion. One end of the resilient sheet portion forms a free end. The opening is closed flexibly through the help of the resilient sheet portion. The hook portion can be hooked at a joint ring of a pull sheet. A zipper's pull hook having a replaceable pull sheet is thus formed.

  • Patent number: 6581250
Abstract: The present invention provides a string fastening device which allows a string to be threaded thereinto easily, facilitates tightening of the string and enables the string to be gripped softly and captured accurately. The string fastening device can be used with its main body only and the main body includes a penetrating hole comprised of a sliding passage portion which allows the string to be moved freely and a braking passage portion for restricting movement of the string such that they adjoin. A narrow portion is provided at a joint portion so as to prevent the string from changing its path freely. The main body is made of thermoplastic elastomer to have elasticity. A rear face of the main body is formed to be a flat face. An attachment groove or sewing holes for sewing operation are provided around the penetrating hole. The main body is placed on a string threading hole in the cloth to be attached by a sewing thread to be fixed securely.

  • Patent number: 6574838
Abstract: A tie-down device secures an aircraft to the ground. The tie-down device includes a hook and slide member operating within the hook to secure a line. In use the line passes through an aperture within the slide member for biasing against a bottom portion of the hook when an opposing end of the line is placed under tension pulling against a top portion of the hook and is used to secure an aircraft to a ground anchor. A second embodiment includes an elongated slide member replacing the wheel. The slide member includes an aperture for receiving the line therethrough and a groove along a peripheral portion for sliding engagement with the hook. In addition, the slide member includes a release arm, accessible to a user, for pulling against the tension holding the line in frictional contact against the bottom portion of the hook.

  • Patent number: 6571430
Abstract: The closure device includes first and second interlocking fastening strips (130, 131) arranged to be interlocked over a predetermined length. The fastening strips (130, 131) have a longitudinal X axis (160), a transverse Y axis (162) and a vertical Z axis (164). The fastening strips (130, 131) are occluded and deoccluded by moving the first fastening strip (130) relative to the second fastening strip (131) in substantially the vertical Z axis (164). The fastening strips (130, 131) may also move in the Y axis (162), rotate or deflect during occlusion. In addition, the fastening strips may include a locking feature (1244, 1245) to prevent unintentional deocclusion.

  • Patent number: 6571433
Abstract: A buckle is composed of a buckle body and an insertion body. The buckle includes an engagement and disengagement system in which the insertion body is inserted into the buckle body. An elastic member provided with elasticity, which is made of, for example, natural rubber, synthetic rubber or thermoplastic elastomer, is integrally molded on a pressing surface formed on an operating portion for performing an engagement and disengagement operation of the buckle by bicolor molding means or insert molding means. The pressing surface of the operating portion may be disposed on the buckle body or may be disposed on the insertion body. In either case, it is possible to produce a buckle having a good touch. Consequently, since the operating portion is flexible and soft to the touch, a smooth engagement and disengagement operation of the buckle can be realized.

  • Patent number: 6568046
Abstract: The closure device includes interlocking fastening strips and a slider. The ends of the fastening strips are heat sealed, melted or otherwise secured together. The fastening strips include a slit near the end of the fastening strips. The slit prevents the separator of the slider from deoccluding the fastening strips when the slider is at the occluded end. The slit allows the top edge of the fastening strips to bend around the separator while the fastening strips remain occluded.

  • Patent number: 6564433
Abstract: A clip for attaching a cover member to cover a groove section includes a base plate attached to a bottom surface of the groove section, a pair of engaging sections projected from the base plate and engaging side engaging sections of the cover member, and an abutting piece section projected from the base plate and having a free end abutting against an inner surface of the cover member to restrain an excessive movement thereof. In the condition that the cover member is attached, a spring force of the free end is applied to the cover member so that friction between the cover member and the engaging sections of the clip at both sides of the trim is effectively increased. Accordingly, the trim can be held in the width direction without loosening.

  • Patent number: 6560822
Abstract: A low profile cable tie, preferably a two-piece cable tie, has a low profile locking head with a lateral strap accepting channel and a strap preferably molded with a right angle bend that is retained in this state during non-use. The cable tie has a clean exterior appearance, including a top surface free of openings and a smooth lateral opening. With this cable tie, a strap accepting channel is provided in the locking head that is substantially parallel to a strap attachment axis. The strap accepting channel divides the locking head into a first part, which is secured to the strap, and a second part which contains a locking device. By providing the locking device on the second part, the first part can be made thinner, allowing the strap accepting channel to be closer to the cable bundle being tied.

  • Patent number: 6553637
Abstract: An improved movable buckle structure, wherein its male connector and female connector are made of metal, is characterized in that two pivotal connecting bases and a guiding block are integrally coupled and disposed at the front lateral side of the male connector, and two concave grooves are disposed between the inner side of the two pivotal connecting bases and the outer side of the guiding block for embedding two elastic brackets, fixing in position, and providing elasticity. It makes two latching blocks to extend outward or contract inward such that the female connector can be locked or detached. Such structure can stand coldness and will not become brittle, and further can strengthen the exerted tension as well as the durability and artistic look, and thus enhancing the company's competitiveness and satisfying the consumer's needs.
