  • Patent number: 9980264
Abstract: In a transmitting device, each of the plurality of mapping candidates that make up the search space is configured from the same number of control channel elements as an aggregation level value, the control channel elements are obtained by dividing each physical resource block into a predetermined number, and the quantity of resource elements contained in each of the predetermined number of control channel elements in each physical resource block adopts at least two types of values. A search space setting unit sets a search space of which the aggregation level value is 2 or more so that, between a plurality of mapping candidates, variation in the total quantity of resource elements contained in the control channel elements that make up the mapping candidates is as small as possible.

  • Patent number: 9955479
Abstract: A method for transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting Time Division Duplex (TDD) includes: receiving transmission comb (TC) information indicating any one of a total of 4 TCs supported by a 4-TC SRS; mapping the 4-TC SRS to an SRS symbol of an Uplink Pilot Time Slot (UpPTS) of a TDD special subframe based on the TC information; and transmitting the 4-TC SRS through the UpPTS. In the mapping of the 4-TC SRS, the 4-TC SRS is mapped in a unit of 1 resource element (RE) per 4 REs on the SRS symbol based on a TC indicated by the TC information. The transmission of the 4-TC SRS is supported when a plurality of symbols are configured in the UpPTS.

  • Patent number: 9948406
Abstract: With increasing user requirements for social networking services (SNS), communication between user equipments (UEs) at a physically close distance, i.e., device to device (D2D) communication, is needed. D2D communication is performed on the basis of the discovery between UEs. However, D2D communication between UEs may cause interference to communication with an existing system, i.e., a base station. Thus, one aspect of the present invention provides a user equipment comprising a transceiver capable of removing self-interference.

  • Patent number: 9923675
Abstract: Provided is a terminal device that is capable of improving the characteristics of a response signal having poor transmission characteristics when ARQ is utilized in communication using an uplink unit band and a plurality of downlink unit bands associated with the uplink unit band. At the time of channel selection, a control unit selects a resource used in sending a response signal from among specific PUCCH resources notified in advance from a base station and PUCCH resources mapped to a CCE, and controls the transmission of the response signal. A response signal generating unit supports implicit signaling with respect to any given response signal, and at the same time as supporting LTE fallback from 2CC, uses a mapping method that, between bits, smooths the number of PUCCH resources that can determine ACK/NACK simply by determining the PUCCH resource regarding which the response signal had notified.

  • Patent number: 9917762
Abstract: A microburst monitoring system includes a port and a memory system with an egress queue and a shadow queue that are associated with the port. A networking engine is coupled to the port and the memory system and configured to receive and process packets to provide egress frames for forwarding through the port. The networking engine then stores the egress frames in the egress queue, and stores information about each of the egress frames in the shadow queue. When the networking device determines that the storage of the egress frames has caused the egress queue to reach a threshold, the networking device causes the information about each of the egress frames in the egress queue to be captured, and that captured information may be analyzed to determine a source device that is generating at least some of the packets to be throttled.

  • Patent number: 9838439
Abstract: A telecommunications network includes a network service computing device and a host routing device. The host routing device includes a switch. The host routing device is coupled with a remote network and a PSTN. The remote network is coupled to a plurality of communication devices. The network service computing device is in communication with a database. The database includes a plurality of tags associated with VoIP lines. The tags identify the physical location where a plurality of VoIP lines are being operated. The tags determine routing and billing of calls made from each of the VoIP lines. Using a tag as a main routing identifier, instead of just an actual phone number, increases the probability that calls made from the VoIP line are properly routed and correctly billed through the telecommunications network.
