  • Patent number: 6893269
Abstract: A connector includes a block-like insulator having a first surface confronting an IC card, and a second surface located on an opposite side relative to the first surface and confronting a wiring board. The insulator has standoff regions in the form of recesses that are formed at boundaries each between the second surface and a surface of the insulator adjacent to the second surface. The standoff regions enable placement of mounting components on the wiring board between the insulator and the wiring board. Contacts are disposed in predetermined positions of the insulator excluding the standoff regions.

  • Patent number: 6851001
Abstract: The invention relates to an address remapper for a two wire serial bus. This remapper connects two sections of the bus, and is generally transparent, except when it receives an address; in this case, the remapper changes the address before transmitting it to the other section of the bus. This allows using stations having the same physical address on the same bus, and allows a greater number of stations to be used on the bus larger than that allowed under an address format with a fixed part.

  • Patent number: 6843676
Abstract: The invention relates to a male connector 13 for connecting to a female connector, which female connector housing has on its outer face at least one retaining projection. The male connector 13 comprises a male connector housing 14 with an elastic locking arm 21 with a locking strut 23. The male connector 13 has a slider 29 arranged to, which is displaceably held on the male connector housing 14 in an axially limited way. In the locking position the slider 29 prevents a deflection of the locking arm 21 and releases the same in a position different thereto. Compression springs 27, supported on the male connector housing 14 and on the slider 29, act on the slider 29 for taking up its locking position. An elastic retaining element 35 made from round steel, is mounted on the slider 29. In the relaxed condition of the spring leg 37, the retaining element 35 contacts the end face 6 of the female connector housing.
