Abstract: Method and system to facilitate transactions in a particular on-line trading platform from a third party web site may be utilized beneficially to enhance a user's experience in purchasing items referenced on third party web pages. When a user encounters, on a third party web site, a presentation of an item that is linked to a listing maintained by the on-line trading platform, the user may simply click on the presentation of the item, which causes presentation of a visual control selectable to launch a transaction processing flow facilitated by the on-line trading platform, without requiring the user to leave the third party web site.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling procurement systems where tender review process is by selecting external/internal reviewers randomly and by managing at least three levels of reviews. The method comprises collecting a tender information by an application server; collecting the bids; and collecting reviews at each level and transmitting the reviews to the next-level reviewers. The reviewers are selected from a reviewer register for each review level. The first-level reviews are transmitted or kept confidential as per entity preference to the second-level reviewer devices and the second-level reviews are collected within a limit period of time and simultaneously. The second-level reviews are collected from the second-level reviewers and transmitted to the third-level reviewers. The system may analyse the collected reviews and select the winner of the tender based on reviews collected.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating item recommendations are disclosed. One method includes sampling from a weighted node-based graph to generate a sampled graph, wherein sampling includes selecting a plurality of nodes and, for each selected node, one or more node pairs. The selection of the node pairs is based at least in part based on a weight assigned to the node pair in the weighted node-based graph. The method further includes aggregating information from the one or more neighboring nodes into each corresponding node of the plurality of nodes in the sampled graph to generate a vector representation of the sampled graph. The method also includes applying a loss function to the vector representation of the sampled graph to generate a modified vector representation. The modified vector representation is used to generate, in response to identification of an item from an item collection, a selection of one or more recommended items from within the item collection.

Abstract: According to aspects of the disclosed subject matter, a taste graph comprising likely content collection nodes with corresponding likely digital content items is generated through one or more analyses of a corpus of content collections that is maintained by the online content service. As should be understood, this corpus of content collections is comprised of a plurality of curated content collections, with each content collection comprising a plurality of digital content items. With this taste graph available, as a user generates (or in response to a user generating) a content collection of digital content items, reference can be made to the taste graph to identify one or more digital content items that may be added to the content collection, where the one or more digital content items have a probabilistic likelihood of being complimentary and/or compatible with the other digital content items of the content collection.

Abstract: A user device such as a tablet may present search results. Filters may be applied to filter the search results. The filtered search results may include indicia that identify that the filtered search results have been filtered and that individual items within the filtered search results correspond to the applied filter. The indicia may fade out over time as the applied filter expires. The filtered search results may also include the individual items that do not correspond to the applied filter. These individual items may have different indicia applied to them, so as to differentiate them from individual items that do correspond to the applied filter. By providing the indicia, a user is provided with a visual confirmation that the search results have been filtered, what filter has been applied, and a differentiation between the individual items that do and do not correspond with the applied filter.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for improving security of smart contract comprises: obtaining a first and a second transactions both invoking a smart contract, wherein the first transaction is associated with a protection condition; executing the second transaction and updating a current state of the smart contract; determining whether the updated current state of the smart contract satisfies the protection condition; in response to determining that the updated current state satisfies the protection condition, executing the first transaction, and recording the second and the first transactions into a data block for adding to a blockchain; and in response to determining that the updated current state does not satisfy the protection condition, recording the second transaction into another data block for adding to the blockchain, without executing the first transaction.

Some techniques employed feature a subscription-based method for presenting commercial resources to a mobile device. The method involves receiving mobile device user information relating to a geographic location to locate one or more merchants within a subscription-based shopping network, and receiving mobile device user information relating to a merchant type within the subscription-based shopping network. The method also involves receiving, from a database over a communication network, information for one or more merchants associated with the mobile device user information for the geographic location and the merchant type, and presenting the associated merchant information on the mobile device.

Further, the server can send display instructions over a network to display a plurality of available selections for a second customization option at the remote computer system. The server can then access an updated product photo based on a user selection at the remote computer system of an available selection for the second customization option. Finally, the server can send over the network display instructions to the remote computer system for the updated product photo.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods to create apparel and other goods that provide embedded verification of a transferrable non-fungible token (“NFT”). For instance, a system may identify a good with a visualization of an NFT artifact, and a tag that is encoded with a unique network identifier. The system may obtain data for a profile of a user that purchases the good, may link the data from the profile of the user to the unique network identifier, may record the user as an owner of a NFT created for the NFT artifact on a blockchain, and may link the NFT to the unique network identifier. The system may present a website that is dynamically populated with the data from the profile and ownership information recorded with the NFT on the blockchain in response to a request from a device that reads the unique network identifier from the tag.

Abstract: A method may include receiving activity data associated with a user, wherein the activity data relates to online activity involving a product type, identifying the product type associated with the activity data, and predicting, based on the activity data, that the user is likely to purchase a product of the product type. The method may include generating, based on predicting that the user is likely interested in purchasing the product of the product type, an annotation to indicate that a potential transaction to purchase the product is forthcoming, and storing the annotation in a profile associated with an account of the user. Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein provide a geo-targeted online reservation system that ensures authenticity of customer devices requesting reservations by generating reservations only if threshold authentication conditions are satisfied. For example, a computing device registered with a server system receives inputs for requesting a reservation of a limited release product and for configuring the product. To authenticate the computing device, the server device transmits an electronic message to the computing device requesting the computing device to respond. A response to the message is one threshold authentication condition for generating the reservation. Upon determining that one or more threshold authentication conditions are satisfied, the server device generates a reservation for the product.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an order allocation method. The method may include: receiving orders and extracting order information; extracting service provider information and obtaining features of service providers; determining whether the order information matches the features of the service providers, or determining whether the features of the service providers satisfy a preset condition to generate a determination result; ranking the service providers based on the determination result; generating orders to be allocated; and allocating the orders to be allocated to the service providers based on the ranking. The present disclosure also discloses an order allocation system that can perform the method above.

Based upon the current system capabilities, the system selects a particular packaging production machine selected from the multiple packaging production machines to produce the particular packaging design template. The system then produces the particular packaging design template.

Abstract: A system for conducting a computer-based, simultaneous, multiple round, descending clock auction for basic generation services includes a web server for receiving bid data for one or more users for basic generation service products, an application server host application software, which processes the one or more bids according to at least one auction rule, tracks the auction, monitors the auction, and/or determines when to end the auction, and a database server, which stores auction data. A method of conducting a computer-based, simultaneous, multiple round, descending clock auction for basic generation services includes the repeating steps of receiving bids indicating desired tranche units of basic generation service products, calculating next round prices for each product, and sending round results to bidders. The system for and method of conducting a computer-based auction includes limiting the qualified bidders by a load cap to a maximum number of tranches bid during a round.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for facilitating comparison of gemstones having multiple attributes that characterize the gemstones. A facilitated comparison system receives from a user a selection of a gemstone in a collection of the gemstones. Each gemstone in the collection is associated with a selling index indicating a probability of the gemstone being bought by a customer. For each of a predetermined set of the attributes, the system determines one or more comparable ranges. The system identifies alternate gemstones to recommend using the comparable ranges for the attributes and the selling indices of the gemstones. The system displays to the user the selected gemstone and one or more of the alternate gemstones for comparison.

The intermediation object identifier may enable the server to intermediate between the client device and the provider system(s) without storing the provider object and/or any provider object identifier.
