  • Patent number: 11430319
Abstract: Cavitation that occurs within a pump of a machine, such as truck or other work machine, can potentially damage the pump and/or other components of the machine. The machine can have a cavitation monitor configured to detect cavitation and/or cavitation damage associated with the pump based on vibration data, speed data associated with mechanical movements of the pump, and operating data associated with the machine overall. If the cavitation monitor detects cavitation and/or cavitation damage, the cavitation monitor can cause corresponding alerts to be displayed to a machine operator or other user.

  • Patent number: 11429715
Abstract: A method for detecting a threat to an avionics system includes an Embedded Threat Detector (ETD) providing a non-bypassable module which compares run time signatures of each running application with pre-defined database of signatures. Any variation outside of pre-defined bounds implies an existence of malware. The ETD is located in a root Virtual Machine (VM0) and has two modes of operation. A learning mode in a controlled environment generates a database of controlled signatures for each software thread as the software is executed. Conversely, in the run mode during operations, the ETD generates signatures in real time and compares the real time signatures with the controlled signatures. A mismatch exceeding specified limits generates an alert and notifies a user.

  • Publication number: 20220269774
Abstract: Methods, media and systems for screening content for malicious content in a web browser are disclosed. Document object model (DOM) elements are retrieved from the content displayed in the web browser. A link to visit a web site included in the DOM elements is identified. The identified link is compared to a list of permitted sources. Information is scanned to determine whether the information matches records of content transmitted by a primary source among the permitted sources. An alert is generated after determining a mismatch between the information in the DOM elements and records of content transmitted by the primary source.

  • Publication number: 20220270508
Abstract: A user computing entity executes application program code to cause display of an IUI via a user interface of the user computing entity. The IUI comprises an action list comprising one or more action items corresponding to one or more team members of a team. The action items are automatically ordered based on one or more action priorities. At least one of the action items corresponds to a coaching opportunity and a recommendation for responding thereto. The coaching opportunity is automatically identified using a recommendation model trained using machine learning based at least in part on performance data corresponding to a plurality of key performance indicator metrics. The recommendation for responding to the coaching opportunity is determined using the recommendation model and based on the performance data. The recommendation model is trained using information regarding previous handlings of coaching opportunities and corresponding outcome indicators for a cluster of teams.

  • Publication number: 20220271792
Abstract: An adaptive modulation, coding and spreading (AMCS) transmitter is configured to map modulation symbols to a plurality of OFDM subcarriers to generate symbol-modulated subcarriers. For AMCS, some of the modulation symbols may be mapped to individual subcarriers (e.g., similar to conventional OFDM) and one or more of the modulation symbols may be mapped to (i.e., spread across) more than one of the subcarriers (i.e., unlike conventional OFDM) based on a spreading ratio. An IFFT may be performed on the symbol-modulated subcarriers prior to transmission. AMCS allows for adaptation to lower capacity and/or frequency-selective channels by optionally spreading existing modulations over multiple carriers and/or time slots. AMCS expands the catalog for possible modulations/codings by splitting a symbol across multiple carriers and/or time slots.

  • Publication number: 20220272445
Abstract: A method for separating sound sources includes digitizing acoustic signals from a plurality of sources with a plurality of microphone arrays, wherein each of microphone arrays includes one or more microphones, wherein at least one of the microphone arrays may be asynchronous to another one of the microphone arrays or may be moving with respect to another one of the microphone arrays. Spatial parameters are estimated of the digitized acoustic signals. The method includes estimating time-varying source spectra for the sources from the digitized acoustic signals as a function of the digitized acoustic signals and data received from at least one other microphone array. Source signals are estimated for one or more of the sources by filtering the digitized acoustic data digitized at the respective microphone array using the spatial parameters of the digitized acoustic data and the time-varying source spectra from all or a subset of the microphone arrays.

Abstract: A lipid capsid comprising at least one S type protein for attachment to the ACE2 receptor of a cancer cell is provided. The lipid capsid encloses an inner package, comprising histone or a histone eviction compound. The S type protein of the lipid capsid attaches to the ACE2 receptor of a targeted cancer cell, enabling the outer lipid envelope of the capsid to be absorbed through the cell wall of the targeted cell, after which the inner package of the lipid capsid is delivered to the cancer cell. In some embodiments, the histone is selected from the H2AX histone, the H3K27 histone or the H3K9 histone, each histone having a different mechanism of action to disable the cancer cell or repair the DNA of the cancer cell. In another embodiment, the inner package contains a histone eviction compound for evicting histone from the cancer cell.
