  • Publication number: 20210258545
Abstract: Various embodiments concern video patient monitoring with detection zones. Various embodiments can comprise a camera, a user interface, and a computing system. The computing system can be configured to perform various steps based on reception of a frame from the camera, including: calculate a background luminance of the frame; monitor for a luminance change of a zone as compared to one or more previous frames, the luminance change indicative of patient motion in the zone; and compare the background luminance to an aggregate background luminance, the aggregate background luminance based on the plurality of frames. If the background luminance changed by more than a predetermined amount, then the aggregate background luminance can be set to the background luminance, luminance information of the previous frames can be disregarded, and motion detection can be disregarded.

  • Patent number: 11095675
Abstract: The invention relates to detecting vulnerabilities in technology infrastructure environments. Data describing vulnerabilities detected in a technological environment of an enterprise is obtained. The vulnerability data is combined with data relating to servers, applications associated with the servers, and business functions associated with the applications, within the technological environment of the enterprise in order to create enriched data. The enriched data is enhanced using one or more of the following proceses: deduplicating records in the enriched data; modifying of a severity assigned to vulnerabilities based on one or more enterprise-infrastructure factors; archiving and purging of records included in the enriched data; consolidating IP addresses associated with the vulnerabilities; excepting records in the enriched data for vulnerabilities undergoing active remediation; and validating the enriched data. After the enriched data is enhanced, it may be sorted in accordance with one or more filters.

  • Patent number: 11091320
Abstract: Aspects of the invention provide a transport system powered by short block Linear Synchronous Motors (LSMs). The use of short blocks allows vehicles to move under precise control even when they are in close proximity to each other. The design allows the vehicles to be propelled and guided while negotiating sharp turns and negotiating merge and diverge switches. A coreless LSM can be used to create propulsive force without attractive force so as to allow a relatively high drag vehicle suspension, such as a vehicle sliding on a smooth surface.

  • Patent number: 11093498
Abstract: In certain embodiments, resource usage in a data retrieval process may be reduced. In some embodiments, a graph query related to a data request may be obtained. The graph query may be transformed into a query set based on a graph data model and patterns of the graph query. Upon generation, the query set may include queries and query operators linking the queries, where the query operators include a first query operator linking first and second queries of the queries or other query operators. Prior to execution of the first and second queries, a satisfiability issue may be predicted, where the satisfiability issue is related to combining results derived from the first and second queries. Based on the prediction, the first query operator may be removed from the query set to update the query set. The updated query set may be executed to satisfy the graph query.

  • Publication number: 20210248254
Abstract: A bin syncing technique ensures continuous data protection, such as replication and erasure coding, for content driven distribution of data served by storage nodes of a cluster in the event of failure to one or more block services configured to process the data. The cluster maintains information about the block services assigned to host a bin with a copy of the data in a bin assignment table associated with a state. The copies of the data are named, e.g., replica 0 (R0), replica 1 (R1) or replica 2 (R2). In response to failure of one or more block services assigned to host a bin with a replica of the data, an alternate or replacement block service may access the assignments maintained in the bin assignment table, which specify names of the replicas associated with the state.
