Abstract: A sensor positioning device, having a holding module, with a sensor receptacle, fastening element and spring element, the sensor receptacle being mounted movably relative to the fastening element along a compensating axis. The spring is arranged between the fastening element and the sensor receptacle to cooperate therewith, to create a restoring force during movement of the receptacle relative to the fastening element. A measurement connector with an abutment is configured for arrangement onto a process container, and is configured for releasable arrangement on the holding module. The sensor positioning device is configured such that, when the measurement connector is arranged on the holding module, the sensor receptacle is movable relative to the fastening element along the axis, and a pressing force of the sensor receptacle onto the abutment of the measurement connector is created by the spring. • Publication number: 20240146685
Abstract: System and techniques for capability discovery in an information centric network (ICN) are described herein. An ICN node receives a discovery packet that includes a discovery type corresponding to an indication of a node capability requested by a source node of the discovery packet. First capability data, from an intermediate node, is extracted from the discovery packet. The first capability data is stored locally by ICN node. Second capability data from the ICN node is added to the discovery packet to create an expanded discovery packet. The expanded discovery packet is then communicated by the ICN node.

  • Publication number: 20240142460
Abstract: Systems and methods that allow optical detection of nanoparticles according to size and interaction with specific antibodies. Using abiological sample combined with fluorescent dyes and fluorescently labeled antibodies, implementations of the disclosed system allow for detection of >100 particles having diameters as low as 100 nm in under 10 minutes. The detection mechanisms combine confocal detection of particles in microfluidic flow devices. Concentrating the sample using hydrodynamic focusing allows detection of particles having concentrations as low as 104 particles per mL of the sample. These capabilities allow for the detection, identification, and quantitation of viruses from bodily fluids such as saliva, where biologically relevant virus concentrations of potentially infected subjects are within the range of 103-107 particles/mL.

  • Publication number: 20240146835
Abstract: Techniques described herein enable a virtual mobile device representing a user's physical mobile device to be used in artificial reality, such as VR, MR, and AR. An artificial-reality head-mounted device worn by a user may present to the user a virtual mobile application on a virtual mobile device in a virtual environment. The virtual mobile application is a virtual representation of a mobile application that is native to an operating system of a physical mobile device. In particular embodiments, the mobile application may be hosted on a virtual machine for the operating system, which may be different from the operating system of the artificial-reality headset. The user may interact with the virtual mobile application in three-dimensional space. The artificial-reality device may translate the interactions into mobile-application-compatible data that can be understood by the mobile application. The mobile-application-compatible data is then sent to the native application for processing.
