  • Patent number: 11352724
Abstract: Methods of braiding using a braiding mechanism are described. The braiding mechanism includes an array of filament engagement elements, a mandrel extending from the center of the circular array, a plurality of actuators disposed operably about the array, and a rotating mechanism adapted to rotate one or more filaments. The plurality of filaments are loaded onto the mandrel by looping a middle portion of each filament of the plurality of filaments over an end of the mandrel and extend radially toward and contact the circumferential edge of the circular array of filament engagement elements. The plurality of actuators are operated to engage a first subset of the plurality of filaments and move the engaged filaments in a generally radial direction to a position beyond the circumferential edge of the array. The rotating mechanism is operated to move the engaged filaments about the mandrel axis.

  • Patent number: 11343375
Abstract: Systems and methods for using machine-learning techniques for labeling incoming calls with categories relating to a risk level. A model is generated using call log data. The call log data is augmented using information from additional data sources to generate features for the model. The model may then be used to categorize additional incoming calls. The model may be used in real-time to categorize incoming calls, or categorization results may be stored for a plurality of calling numbers. Various embodiments provide various technical advantages by virtue of how the components of the system are deployed between an endpoint communication device, a telephony provider system, and possibly other systems.

  • Publication number: 20220144677
Abstract: A horizontal flow water treatment method and wetland biofilter apparatus provides a chamber with impermeable outer walls spaced away from permeable interior walls of a media filtration bed such that a catch basin is formed between the outer walls and the interior walls. The catch basin creates an open area around the perimeter of the interior walls for influent water to fill within the open area before penetrating the filtration media, providing a large surface area for influent water to interact with the media filtration bed. The influent water enters the catch basin in a horizontal flow path to provide for pre-settling of particulates before making contact with the filtration media. The biofilter design increases the available surface area of the media filtration bed by up to four times for a given volume of water, and thereby minimizes the loading or infiltration rate on the media filtration bed.

  • Patent number: 11238339
Abstract: A set of vectors may be obtained. The vectors may be multi-dimensional vectors that are associated with and describe tokens from a first set of tokens from a corpus of sources. The description may be based in part on the relationship of the token to at least a portion of the remainder of the corpus. A set of sentiment scores may be obtained. The sentiment scores in the set of sentiment scores may describe a sentiment associated with a corresponding token that is described by a vector from the set of vectors. The set of vectors and the set of sentiment scores may be input into a pattern-recognizer pathway in a first neural network. A probability value of a potential future event may then be generated by the first neural network. The probability value may be based on the set of vectors and the set of sentiment scores.

  • Publication number: 20210404169
Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus directed to an innovative approach for the treatment of stormwater utilizing hydrodynamic separator assembly designed to maximize flow movement for more efficient sediment removal and maximize clearance space within assembly to facilitate cleaning and increase storage capacity of trash, debris, and sediment. In particular, the described hydrodynamic separator is an improvement over other hydrodynamic separators known in the art with the inclusion of one or more down pipes which siphon water from the lower portion of the sump chamber. The inclusion of down pipes allows for an improved control of the velocity of the water flow through the device by distributing flow into more than one path.

  • Publication number: 20210156133
Abstract: A system designed to control and filter runoff water in storm drains is presented. Drain water frequently carries trash, organic matter, suspended solids, hydrocarbons, metals, nutrients and bacteria collected from streets and parking lots into a storm drain inlet, which enters storm water drain pipe systems. The present invention supplies a series of baffle boxes inserted in the drain water stream with a final box possessing an upflow filter comprising filtration media and filter cartridges. The system can also support a storm flow bypass that directs high-flow storm runoff water directly to the outlet to protect the filter system.
