  • Patent number: 8375357
Abstract: System and method for performing program-related operations over a network via a web browser. A network connection is established between a server computer and a client computer over a network. A universal resource identifier (URI) is sent from the client computer to the server computer over the network, where the URI indicates a program, e.g., a graphical program (GP), or at least a portion of a graphical program interactive development environment (GPIDE), e.g., a graphical program editor, an execution engine, a static or dynamic analyzer, and/or compiler. The at least a portion of the GPIDE is received from the server computer over the network in response to the URI, and executed in a web browser of the client computer to perform some specified functionality with respect to the GP.

  • Publication number: 20090092718
Abstract: An oven and method of processing products such as fish and shellfish are disclosed. The oven may include a chamber that may be heated to ultra-high temperatures, such as within a range of about 600-2500° F. (315-1371° C.). A burner may heat the chamber from an exterior of the chamber such that the chamber may provide a uniform radiant heat inside the chamber. The products may be carried through the chamber on a conveyor belt to heat a surface of the products to brown and denature the surface, destroy microorganisms, and place grill marks on the products. The products may then be packaged in a microwavable package or boil-in-the-bag film such that the products may be cooked at a later time in a microwave oven or boiling water bath.

  • Patent number: 7377714
Abstract: A mechanical joint is formed from a hollow structure of material that can be shaped so that bringing opposite sides of the external walls forming the hollow together forms a socket. For example, by compressing together opposite external sides of a hollow structure, such as a tube, a socket with a continuous double wall is formed. The socket is configured to provide a snap fit with a moveable member. A flexible member is positioned in the socket and attached to the moveable member, so that the moveable member can be controlled for placement in an out of the socket. The flexible member may also twist to permit the moveable member to be located in any position necessary to allow the moveable member to be engaged in the socket or disengaged from the socket, reducing the need for precise component tolerances. The joint is useful in structures that have multiple configurations.

  • Patent number: 7224484
Abstract: When a sensor of a scanning array is identified as “bad” (defective), data from a neighboring “good” sensor is used to determine pixel data nominally associated with the bad sensor. During a calibration procedure, dark-offset and gain values are determined for each sensor to compensate for individual differences between the sensors of the array. These values are entered into a table in memory. During scanning of an actual image, the values are used to determine digital image pixel data from the signal data provided by the sensors. The calibration procedure also identifies bad sensors, e.g., sensors that remain on or off, irrespective of the illumination incident to them. Extreme offset and gain values are entered into the table locations associated with the respective sensor. When the extreme values are detected, the signal data for the respective sensor is discarded, and the pixel data associated with the most recently processed good sensor is used as the pixel data associated with the bad sensor.
