  • Publication number: 20210109076
Abstract: The present invention provides systems, devices, signaling polynucleotides (SPNs), detection agents and methods for detecting the presence and/or absence of one or more allergens in a sample particularly a food sample. The detection system includes a separate sampler, at least one disposable detection vessel for receiving and processing a test sample and a detection device for measuring a fluorescent signal. SPNs derived from aptamer that bind allergens are provided as detection agents. SPNs have a single open structure, and are labeled with a fluorophore. Changes in fluorescence polarization of SPNs upon the binding of allergens are measured to calculate the allergen content in a sample.

  • Patent number: 10930392
Abstract: A method for processing ECG records from multiple patients for clinician overreading includes identifying an unread group of current ECG records from multiple patients awaiting clinician overreading. Each ECG record in the ungroup includes at least a current ECG data, a current waveform measurement, a current interpretative statement, and a serial comparison statement. A set of prioritization rules is applied with a processor to prioritize the current ECG records in the unread group into a prioritized order for clinician overreading based on at least one of the current waveform measurements, the current interpretive statements, and the serial comparison statements. The current ECG records are then presented in the prioritized order for clinician overreading.

  • Publication number: 20200412670
Abstract: Examples describe an egress subsystem that can be used to schedule fetching and transmission of packets from a switch fabric. Segments of a packet can be requested from a switch fabric and stored in a re-order buffer to re-order any segments that are received out of order from the switch fabric. A header segment re-order buffer can be used to re-order segments of a header. After a header of a packet is available in the header segment re-order buffer, the header can be processed before the entire associated body is received from the switch fabric. A jitter threshold scheme can gate egress of a body from a re-order buffer unless a time threshold or amount threshold is met. The egress subsystem can track a state of packet segments from request to transmission, A flow control message received at the egress subsystem can cause packets in certain states to be paused and not permitted to egress.

  • Publication number: 20200385755
Abstract: The current disclosure provides methods for reprogramming mammalian somatic cells by regulating the expression of endogenous cellular genes. Cellular reprogramming of somatic cells can be induced by activating the transcription of embryonic stem cell-associated genes (e.g., oct3/4) and suppressing the transcription of somatic cell-specific and/or cell death-associated genes. The endogenous transcription machinery can be modulated using synthetic transcription factors (activators and suppressors), to allow for faster, and more efficient nuclear reprogramming under conditions amenable for clinical and commercial applications. The current disclosure further provides cells obtained from such methods, along with therapeutic methods for using such cells for the treatment of diseases amendable to stem cell therapy, as well as kits for such uses.

  • Patent number: 10827941
Abstract: A method of obtaining and analyzing ECG data from a patient or group of patients is disclosed. The ECG data is obtained from the patient at an acquisition device. Once the ECG data is obtained, the ECG data is transmitted to an analysis server that is operated by an analysis provider and is located remote from the location of the acquisition device. Along with the ECG data, acquisition parameters are transmitted to the analysis server. At the analysis server, one of a plurality of algorithms is selected to analyze the ECG data. If an abnormality is detected, the patient information is directed to a healthcare provider who can then contact the patient to schedule an appointment. Based upon the referral, a referral fee can be transferred from the healthcare provider to the analysis provider. The patient can be prompted to provide additional information and selections that dictate the level of analysis generated.
