  • Patent number: 11366870
Abstract: The load level on a server system is regulated by determining time-to-live (TTL) values to provide to requesting devices that request a content resource from the server system, thereby affecting the frequency of subsequent requests. This dynamic determination of TTL values may provide resilience to system load, for example by using longer TTL values when the system is under greater load to reduce the rate at which subsequent requests are received. A dynamic TTL service may calculate a TTL value based on one or more factors, such as overall system load, resource load, hardware load, and/or software load.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for remote management of hardware security modules (HSMs) includes receiving a command request from a mobile device. The command request includes an encrypted key part and an encrypted signing key. The HSM decrypts the command request using a key associated with a security zone of the mobile device. The HSM decrypts the encrypted key part and the encrypted signing key. Decrypting the encrypted key part and the encrypted signing key includes using the key associated with the security zone of the mobile device and a key associated with a remote administrator associated with the mobile device. A command is generated for a domain with a target HSM. The command is generated using the decrypted key part and the decrypted signing key. • Patent number: 11250001
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to processing data records, and for a multi-phase partitioned data reduction. The first phase relates to processing data records and partitioning the records into a first partition of records having a common characteristic and a second partition of records that are not members of the first partition. The data records in each partition are subject to intra-partition data reduction responsive to a resource constraint. The data records in each partition are also subject to an inter-partition data reduction, also referred to as an aggregation to reduce a footprint for storing the records. Partitions and/or individual records are logically aggregated and a data reduction operation for the logical aggregation of records takes place in response to available resources.
