  • Publication number: 20230215415
Abstract: An electronic device includes one or more pose sensors for detecting a pose of a user of the electronic device relative to a first physical environment and is in communication with one or more audio output devices. While a first pose of the user meets first presentation criteria, the electronic device provides audio content at a first simulated spatial location relative to the user. The electronic device detects a change in the pose of the user from the first pose to a second pose. In response to detecting the change in the pose of the user, and in accordance with a determination that the second pose of the user does not meet the first presentation criteria, the electronic device provides audio content at a second simulated spatial location relative to the user that is different from the first simulated spatial location.

Abstract: A combination pre-roll container and chillum device comprises a cylindrical member; a bowl at a first end of the cylindrical member for holding a smokable substance; a mouthpiece at a second end of the cylindrical member for drawing air; and a lumen fluidly connecting the bowl and mouthpiece so that smoke from burning smokable substance can be inhaled through the mouthpiece. The lumen includes a region of reduced dimensions so that smoke can pass, while helping to prevent the smokable substance from further entering the lumen. A first cap is positionable on the first end to cover the bowl and a second cap is positionable on the second end to cover the mouthpiece. The lumen is an airtight container for the pre-roll and smokable substance in the bowl is protected with the first cap positioned on the first end and the second cap positioned on the second end.

  • Publication number: 20230175850
Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods to enforce a curfew upon a driver. In an example method, a processor makes a determination whether a vehicle operated by a driver is located inside a geofence during a curfew. The processor reports to user a violation of the curfew if the vehicle is not located inside the geofence during the curfew. The processor may also report an expected curfew violation (based on a speed and/or a distance evaluation of the vehicle) when the vehicle is unable to enter the geofence before a start of the curfew. If the vehicle is located inside the geofence during the curfew, the processor bestows privacy to a travel history of the driver. The travel history is associated with travel by the driver outside the geofence at times other than the curfew.

  • Patent number: 11667304
Abstract: While operating a vehicle, a candidate marker is detected via first image data from a first image sensor. Upon failing to identify the candidate marker, vehicle exterior lighting is actuated to illuminate the candidate marker. Then the candidate marker is determined to be one of a real marker or a projected marker based on determining whether the candidate marker is detected via second image data from the first image sensor. Upon determining the candidate marker is the real marker, the vehicle is operated based on the real marker.

  • Patent number: 11669762
Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer program product are provided to adjust and modify input signals used in connection with predictive models by detecting events, such as changes in operating parameters of data objects and/or related systems and calculating adjusted decay rates to be applied to time-series data associated with times prior to an occurrence of an event. In some example implementations, an indication of an event associated with a given datastream is received, in a manner which indicates the change in an operating parameter and the time at which the change occurred. Based at least in part on the indication of the event associated with the datastream, a second decay rate associated with the set of time-series data is determined and applied to the set of time-series data, such that an updated future performance level can be calculated by a predictive model.

  • Publication number: 20230165699
Abstract: An assistive ankle foot orthosis is described. The AFO has a tubular vertical member arranged laterally to a user's limb. The member carries a rotational bearing and a rotational element such as a pulley. The pulley is connected to a footplate. The footplate provides joint movement assistance or resistance to the user upon rotation of the pulley. The pulley is coupled to one or more springs that provide counter-rotational resistance to pulley movement, thereby storing, and then returning, rotational force during certain foot movements. The spring can include a leaf spring arranged inside the member, the stiffness of which can be manually, automatically or dynamically adjusted by movement of the device.

  • Patent number: 11655798
Abstract: A multistage wind turbine or network of wind turbines with improved and optimized wind-directing, wind-shaping, and wind-power conversion features indicates that the shapes of these features directly affect the ability of the multistage wind turbine to use the power of moving air, such as wind, to spin a rotor and create torque on a rotor shaft to generate electricity. The wind-power-conversion mechanical efficiency described significantly improves upon previous designs by conversion of wind energy into electrical power at a superior price-to-performance ratio compared with existing alternative energy technologies.
