  • Publication number: 20250106623
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message indicating one or more decryption keys for multicast and broadcast service (MBS) communications within a geographic service area supported by one or more cells of a non-terrestrial network (NTN) or a terrestrial network (TN). The UE may also receive geographic information associated with the geographic coverage area, synchronization information associated with the one or more cells, prioritization information associated with the one or more cells, or a combination thereof. Accordingly, the UE may receive an MBS message via the one or more cells, and may decrypt the MBS message based on the control message, the geographic information, the synchronization information, the prioritization information, or a combination thereof. The techniques described herein may enable the UE to receive encrypted MBS communications within the geographic service area.

  • Publication number: 20250106115
Abstract: A control device may be configured to form a network at a unique coordinated startup time. The control device may identify a role assigned to the control device in a previously-formed network that the control device was attached to. The control device may determine a unique coordinated startup time for the control device based on the role assigned to the control device in the previously-formed network. The control device may initiate a network formation procedure at the unique coordinated startup time for the device. For example, the network formation procedure may cause the control device to attach to another control device in the network. The network formation procedure is configured to enable the control device to assume the role assigned to the control device in the previously-formed network in the new network.

  • Publication number: 20250106200
Abstract: System and method for fine granularity control of data access and usage for across multi-tenant systems. A user makes a request to access a particular set of data from a particular remote data source for a specific purpose. The system authorizes the user to validate whether the user is qualified to make the request. The data source is checked to see if the particular data has been granted access for that particular purpose. A cloud neutral token is created and converted into a cloud specific token upon reaching the remote data source. The cloud specific token is used to create a temporary IAM role and IAM policy with a predetermined time to live. After the time to live expires, the IAM role and IAM policy are deleted.

  • Publication number: 20250106903
Abstract: A method can include transmitting, by a base station via a first cell, a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order initiating a first random access (RA) procedure on a second cell. The method can also include receiving a first RA preamble, for the first RA procedure, transmitted using a preamble power ramping counter. The method can further include transmitting, after the first RA procedure is complete, a second PDCCH order initiating a second RA procedure on a third cell; wherein in response the second RA procedure being initiated on the third cell and based on the second cell and the third cell being different, the preamble power ramping counter is initialized with an initial value. The method can further include receiving, via the third cell and for the second RA procedure, a second random access preamble transmitted using the initial value.

  • Publication number: 20250106235
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus related to network security. In one approach, various endpoint devices communicate with a network gateway and/or API mode CASB over one or more networks. All communications by the endpoint devices with remote servers and clouds pass through the network gateway (and/or by cloud service access when using an API mode CASB). The gateway and/or CASB gathers metadata from the endpoint devices and/or network devices. The metadata indicates characteristics of the communications by the endpoint devices on the networks and/or processes running on the endpoint devices. The gateway and/or CASB identifies security risks using at least the metadata, and in response dynamically performs remediation actions for one or more of the networks in real-time to limit or block propagation of a cyber attack associated with one or more of the identified security risks.
