  • Publication number: 20160259821
Abstract: A system and method for efficient storage and searching of object state data and relationships at a given point of time is disclosed. A server system stores one or more data objects in a database associated with a server system. The server system receives an update to one or more data objects stored in the database. For a respective object, the server system determines one or more differences between the respective original data object and the respective updated data object, creates a change entry for the respective data object, and stores the created change entry in a change database at the server system. The server system receives a data query and searches the one or more change entries stored in the change database to identify the information associated with the received search query. The server system sends the identified information to the client system.

  • Publication number: 20160261624
Abstract: A method includes collecting system calls and call parameters invoked by monitored applications for target computer systems. The system calls and call parameters are received from operating system kernels on the plurality of target computer systems. Sequences of systems calls and call parameters of the monitored applications are correlated among different target computer systems to deduce malicious activities. Remedial action(s) are performed in response to malicious activities being deduced as being malicious by the correlating. Another method includes determining that network activity at a specific time is deemed to be suspicious. Using IP addresses involved in the suspicious network activity, computer system(s) are determined that are sources of the suspicious network activity. Based on the specific time and the determined computer system(s), application(s) are determined that are executing on the determined computer system(s) that are causing the suspicious network activity.

Abstract: Calibration for a plenoptic imaging system. The plenoptic imaging system includes a detector array that is subdivided into superpixels. A plenoptic image captured by the detector array of the plenoptic imaging system is accessed. For a row of superpixels, a slice is selected through the row, the selected slice having a Fourier transform with a stronger fundamental component compared to other slices through the row. A pitch of the row of superpixels is determined based on a frequency of the fundamental component of the selected slice. • Patent number: 9436391
Abstract: An input/output (I/O) request is dispatched. A determination is made regarding a storage volume to service. A determination is made regarding whether an actual disk throughput exceeds a first threshold rate. The first threshold rate exceeds a reserved disk throughput. Responsive to determining that the actual disk throughput exceeds the first threshold rate, a first storage volume is selected based on credits or based on priority. Responsive to determining that the actual disk throughput does not exceed the first threshold rate, a second storage volume is selected based on guaranteed minimum I/O rate. An I/O request queue associated with the determined storage volume is determined. An I/O request is retrieved from the determined I/O request queue. The retrieved I/O request is sent to a persistence layer that includes the selected storage volume.
