  • Patent number: 11669855
Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to techniques for segmenting one transaction into multiple sub-transactions. A user may wish to purchase multiple items. The overall purchase request may be segmented into multiple sub-transactions based on a transaction category of each item. Transaction categories may be based on merchant category codes (MCCs). Each sub-transaction may include one or more items related to the same transaction category. Each sub-transaction may be underwritten and approved separately by the merchant and/or a financial institution (e.g., a credit card company). Financial information related to each different transaction category may be determined based on the sub-transactions. Reward offers may be provided in a more robust manner based on the different transaction categories determined during the purchase process.

  • Publication number: 20230168804
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable context-aware haptic error notifications. The systems and methods include a processor to receive input segments into a software application from a character input component and determine a destination. A context identification model predicts a context classification of the input segments based at least in part on the software application and the destination. Potential errors are determined in the input segments based on the context classification. An error characterization machine learning model determines an error type classification and an error severity score associated with each potential error and a haptic feedback pattern is determined for each potential error based on the error type classification and the error severity score of each potential error of the one or more potential errors. And a haptic event latency is determined based on the error type classification and the error severity score of each potential error.

  • Patent number: 11645711
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for protecting user accounts using machine learning models. A machine learning model may be trained to determine whether account activity indicates a risk to credit scores. Account data, associated with a first financial account, may processed to determine whether the first financial account is associated with at least one underage user. A transaction request, associated with the first financial account, may be received. A history of transactions conducted by the first financial account may be retrieved. The trained machine learning model may be provided, as input, the transaction request and the history of transactions. An indication of risk to a credit score associated with the at least one underage user may be received as output from the trained machine learning model. • Publication number: 20230083785
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may provide keys for unlocking access to a location, like a user room, a secure location, a door at an employee location, a trunk, a closet or other locked location or item, on a payment card. Examples of a payment card include but are not limited to a credit card, a debit card, a smart card, an employee identification card, etc. A secure token that acts as digital key may be uploaded to the payment card. The payment card may then be put in close proximity of a wireless reader at the lock. The wireless reader obtains the secure token and extracts the contents. If the contents are proper, the lock is unlocked. Otherwise, the lock remains locked.

  • Publication number: 20230083852
Abstract: A system receives an image including a live facial image of the user and an identity document including a photograph of the user. Moreover, the system calculates a facial match score by comparing facial features in the live facial image to facial features in the photograph. The system recognizes data objects and characters in the identity document using optical character recognition (OCR) and computer vision, and then identifies, based on the recognized data objects and characters, a type of the identity document. Further, the system calculates a document validity score by comparing the recognized characters and data objects to character strings and data objects known to be present in the identified type of the identity document. Additionally, the system determines and outputs the user's identity verification status based on comparing the facial match score to a facial match threshold and comparing the document validity score to a document validity threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230056653
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may receive a document associated with a series of recurring events and associated with an account. The device may analyze, using at least one of an optical character recognition technique or a natural language processing technique, the document to identify one or more characteristics associated with the document. The device may match the document with a record included in a ledger associated with the account based on the one or more characteristics associated with the document, enabling the device to identify that the record is associated with a recurring event of the series of recurring events. The device may modify display information associated with the ledger to append at least one characteristic associated with the document to information associated with the record. The device may transmit, to a user device, the display information to cause the display information to be displayed by the user device.

  • Publication number: 20230057762
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may receive information indicating that an instrument has been provided by a user to a recipient. The instrument may be associated with a value, and the instrument may be designated for the recipient. The device may determine, using the machine learning model, a prediction of a time of an event associated with the instrument based on the recipient. The event associated with the instrument may result in a reduction of a balance of an account of the user. The device may transmit to another device of the user, a notification indicating the prediction of the time of the event associated with the instrument.

  • Publication number: 20230049580
Abstract: In some implementations, a card may communicate with an exchange terminal to complete the first exchange associated with an entity, wherein the first exchange is associated with the entity providing a validation of a second exchange associated with a charge for parking a vehicle. The card may receive, from the exchange terminal, an indication of the validation code based on communicating with the exchange terminal to complete the first exchange, wherein the validation code indicates the validation of the second exchange. The card may store the validation code and a time indicator associated with receiving the indication of the validation code. The card may transmit, to an exit terminal, an indication of the validation code and the time indicator to cause an amount associated with the second exchange to be at least partially reduced, wherein the exit terminal is associated with completing exchanges for vehicles parked in the location.
