  • Publication number: 20230318638
Abstract: Methods and systems may include performing pre-equalization of a signal for transmission, where the pre-equalization includes amplifying a non-linear portion of the signal based on a frequency response of a transmit filter for the non-linear portion of the signal. In such a method or system, the non-linear portion may be configured to counteract spectral spread caused by a power amplifier, and the amplifying of the pre-equalization may cause the non-linear portion of the signal to survive filtering by the transmit filter such that the non-linear portion of the signal arrives at the power amplifier to counteract the spectral spread of the signal for transmission caused by the power amplifier.

  • Patent number: 11769075
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a process of providing dynamic machine learning on premise model selection. In particular, a set of machine learned models are generated and provided to an on premise computing device. The machine learned models are generated using a cluster of customer data (e.g. telemetric data) stored on a computing network having different ranges of computational complexity. One of the machine learned models from the set of machine learned models will be selected based on the current available computational resources detected at the on premise computing device. Different machine learned models from the set of machine learned models can then be selected based on changes in the available computational resources and/or customer feedback.

  • Patent number: 11758005
Abstract: Examples described herein involve switching between two user accounts of a streaming media service. In an example implementation, a playback device stores data representing credentials for multiple user accounts including a first user account of a first streaming audio service and a second user account of the first streaming audio service. The playback device receives instructions to play first audio content from the first streaming audio service and plays back the first audio content by streaming data representing the first audio content from one or more servers of the first streaming audio service using credentials of the first user account. The playback device detects a trigger associated with the first user account of the first streaming audio service and switches from streaming data representing the first audio content using credentials of the first user account to streaming data representing the first audio content using credentials of the second user account.

  • Publication number: 20230281515
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a process for metered training of fog nodes within the fog layer. The metered training allows the fog nodes to be continually trained within the fog layer without the need for the cloud. Furthermore, the metered training allows the fog node to operate normally as the training is performed only when spare resources are available at the fog node. The disclosed technology also relates to a process of sharing better trained machine learning models of a fog node with other similar fog nodes thereby speeding up the training process for other fog nodes within the fog layer.

  • Patent number: 11740774
Abstract: A multimedia controller for controlling and displaying zones in a multi-zone system is provided. In one example the controller provides a user interface for multiple zones of a media playback system comprising multiple playback devices. The controller identifies respective states associated with each zone of the multiple zones and detects an input to display a list of the multiple zones. In response to detecting the input, the controller determines an order of the multiple zones within the list of the multiple zones and displays, via the user interface, the list of the multiple zones, wherein the list of the multiple zones identifies each zone of the multiple zones in the determined order.

  • Patent number: 11740855
Abstract: Embodiments described herein involve providing media item preferences according to a user account of a user providing the preference, rather than a user account providing the media item. When a user indicates a preference for a media item, the preference are associated with that particular user, rather than with another user whose account the media item may have been accessed and played through when the particular user indicated the preference. As a result, a media preference history associated with the account providing the media item will not be disrupted by other users indicating preferences for the media item. Further, users may build on their respective media preference histories even when listening to music provided by someone else.

  • Publication number: 20230267169
Abstract: Circuitry for multiplying a sparse matrix by a dense vector includes a first switching circuit (302) for routing input triplets from N input ports to N output ports based on column indices of the triplets. Each triplet includes a non-zero value, a row index, and a column index. N first memory banks (303) store subsets of vector elements and are addressed by the column indices of the triplets. N multipliers (305) multiply the non-zero values of the triplets by the vector element read from the respective memory bank. A second switching circuit (304) routes tuples based on row indices of the tuples. Each tuple includes a product output by the one of the N multipliers and a row index output by an output port of the first switching circuit. N accumulator circuits (307) sum products of tuples having equal row indices.
