    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing the generation and processing of charging data records (CDRs) in a telecommunication environment (e.g., a fourth generation (4G) a fifth generation (5G), or future generation mobile network). The systems described herein involve predicting lengths of CDRs prior to encoding and providing the CDRs to a charging gateway function to ensure that the CDRs do not exceed a maximum allowable length that the charging gateway function is capable of processing while also reducing the total number of CDR packages that are encoded and transmitted. Indeed, the systems described herein can predict the length of the CDRs incrementally as charging containers are added, thus limiting the number of CDRs that are generated and processed.

    Abstract: A data management system (DMS) may facilitate an investigation procedure for a set of one or more virtual machines (VMs) hosted in a first environment. The DMS may receive an indication of a selection of one or more sets of VMs and corresponding snapshots for the investigation procedure. The corresponding snapshots may be stored in a second environment, and each snapshot may be associated with a version of a respective set of VMs. The DMS may mount the one or more sets of VMs to one or more testing environments different than the first and second environments. The mounting may use the snapshots stored in the second environment to provide the testing environments with query access to respective versions of the sets of VMs hosted in the first environment. The DMS may perform query operations between the first environment and the testing environments as part of the investigation procedure.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein involve providing media item preferences according to a user account of a user providing the preference, rather than a user account providing the media item. When a user indicates a preference for a media item, the preference are associated with that particular user, rather than with another user whose account the media item may have been accessed and played through when the particular user indicated the preference. As a result, a media preference history associated with the account providing the media item will not be disrupted by other users indicating preferences for the media item. Further, users may build on their respective media preference histories even when listening to music provided by someone else.

Media content may be received which includes a video and audio portion. An unencrypted encode of the video portion may be generated. A first set of time stamps for the video portion may be generated using a computer vision algorithm. A second set of time stamps for the video portion may be generated for identifying IDR frames using a first algorithm. A third set of time stamps may be generated to serve as boundaries for interleaving additional content into the media content based on a priority algorithm that uses the first set of time stamps and the second set of time stamps. The video portion may be encoded using the third set of time stamps to determine the IDR frames for the media content.
