  • Publication number: 20240168853
Abstract: A data management system may deploy a virtual machine agent on a source data storage environment including a first set of computing resources managed by a user of a data management platform. In some examples, the virtual machine agent facilitates a connection between the source data storage environment and a target data storage environment including a second set of computing resources managed by the data management platform. The target data storage environment may be configured to automatically recover and restore data at the target data storage environment based on determining a failover event at the source data storage environment. The data management system may receive, from the user, a backup configuration configuring a schedule for backing up the data from the source data storage environment to the target data storage environment. The data management system may then perform a backup of the data in accordance with the backup configuration.

  • Publication number: 20240152346
Abstract: An application disposition definition agent (ADDA) system intercepts runtime data generated by resources of a first platform when an application is executing in the first platform. The ADDA system discovers components of the application based on the intercepted runtime data. The ADDA system generates an application architecture that includes the discovered components of the application. The ADDA system identifies transactional behaviors of the components based on the intercepted runtime data. The ADDA system determines scalability and performance parameters of each discovered component based on the intercepted runtime data. The ADDA system generates an application architecture that includes the discovered components of the application, the transactional behaviors of the components, and the scalability and performance parameters of the components. The generated application architecture can be used to deploy the application in a second platform.

  • Publication number: 20240143648
Abstract: Embodiments are provided for querying a media server for media content based on user-selected metadata associated with first media while the first media is being experienced by a user. In one embodiment, at least one metadata associated with the first media may be displayed for the user to review while the first media is being experienced by the user. The user may then select a displayed metadata to initiate a search for media content based on the selected metadata. The search for media content may be performed by querying a media server associated with a selection of media content services. The user may then review the results of the media query, select media content from the results, and initiate further action, such as adding the media content to a digital repository, or purchasing the media content.

  • Publication number: 20240137446
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing the generation and processing of charging data records (CDRs) in a telecommunication environment (e.g., a fourth generation (4G) a fifth generation (5G), or future generation mobile network). The systems described herein involve predicting lengths of CDRs prior to encoding and providing the CDRs to a charging gateway function to ensure that the CDRs do not exceed a maximum allowable length that the charging gateway function is capable of processing while also reducing the total number of CDR packages that are encoded and transmitted. Indeed, the systems described herein can predict the length of the CDRs incrementally as charging containers are added, thus limiting the number of CDRs that are generated and processed.

  • Publication number: 20240134594
Abstract: Embodiments described herein involve providing media item preferences according to a user account of a user providing the preference, rather than a user account providing the media item. When a user indicates a preference for a media item, the preference are associated with that particular user, rather than with another user whose account the media item may have been accessed and played through when the particular user indicated the preference. As a result, a media preference history associated with the account providing the media item will not be disrupted by other users indicating preferences for the media item. Further, users may build on their respective media preference histories even when listening to music provided by someone else.

  • Publication number: 20240134760
Abstract: A data management system (DMS) may facilitate an investigation procedure for a set of one or more virtual machines (VMs) hosted in a first environment. The DMS may receive an indication of a selection of one or more sets of VMs and corresponding snapshots for the investigation procedure. The corresponding snapshots may be stored in a second environment, and each snapshot may be associated with a version of a respective set of VMs. The DMS may mount the one or more sets of VMs to one or more testing environments different than the first and second environments. The mounting may use the snapshots stored in the second environment to provide the testing environments with query access to respective versions of the sets of VMs hosted in the first environment. The DMS may perform query operations between the first environment and the testing environments as part of the investigation procedure.
