  • Publication number: 20180286360
Abstract: Methods and apparatus relating to an adaptive multibit bus for energy optimization are described. In an embodiment, a 1-bit interconnect of a processor is caused to select between a plurality of operational modes. The plurality of operational modes comprises a first mode and a second mode. The first mode causes transmission of a single bit over the 1-bit interconnect at a first frequency and the second mode causes transmission of a plurality of bits over the 1-bit interconnect at a second frequency based at least in part on a determination that an operating voltage of the 1-bit interconnect is at a high voltage level and that the second frequency is lower than the first frequency. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.

  • Patent number: 10089534
Abstract: Various embodiments calculate a score for each frame of a video segment based on various subject-related factors associated with a subject (e.g., face or other object) captured in a frame relative to corresponding factors of the subject in other frames of the video segment. A highest-scoring frame from the video segment can then be extracted based on a comparison of the score of each frame of the video segment with the score of each other frame of the video segment, and the extracted frame can be transcoded as an image for display via a display device. The score calculation, extraction, and transcoding actions are performed automatically and without user intervention, which improves previous approaches that use a primarily manual, tedious, and time consuming approach.

  • Publication number: 20180275954
Abstract: Example implementations may involve generating and displaying media items contexts related to media playback systems in social media posts. In an example, a computing system of a social media service receives data representing a playback history of one or more particular audio tracks that were played back at a media playback system, and a particular account of the social media service that is registered with the media playback system. In response, the computing system generates a social-media post for the particular account of the social media service, the social-media post including that an indication of the one or more particular audio tracks that were played back at the media playback system during the playback session. The computing system displays the generated social-media post in respective feeds of multiple accounts of the social media service that are connected to the particular account within a social network of the social media service.
