Abstract: An adjustable surf wake system can enhance a wake formed by a watercraft travelling through water. A rider control device can enable a rider to control the wake of the watercraft while riding the wake, such as for wake surfing. The rider can adjust the speed of the watercraft, can adjust the height of the wake, and/or can change the watercraft between a surf-left configuration and a surf-right configuration. The rider control device can include a position sensor. A drone can position a camera based on the position sensor of the rider control device for filming the rider.

Abstract: In an example, an apparatus is described that includes a transparent platen, a substrate, an array of light sources, and a sensor. The substrate is positioned on one side of the platen and has substantially uniform reflective properties. The array of light sources is positioned on an opposite side of the platen from the substrate and includes a plurality of light sources that emits light in a visible spectrum and a light source that emits light in an invisible spectrum. The sensor is positioned on the opposite side of the platen from the substrate and detects reflected portions of the light in the visible spectrum and the light in the invisible spectrum.

Abstract: A blade assembly for a food processing appliance includes a shaft and a base member in which one end of the shaft is journalled for rotation about its axis. First and second blade members are mounted to the shaft at respective axial locations and extend radially and in opposite directions from their respective locations on the shaft, with the blade member nearer the free end of the shaft being angled back along the shaft towards the base member and the other blade member angled forwardly along the shaft, towards the free end. The first blade member further has associated therewith a relatively short and blunt stub-like blade portion angled forwardly from the support location for the first blade member and extending beyond the free end of the shaft.
