  • Patent number: 11513801
Abstract: An electronic device is described that handles control transfer instructions (CTIs) when executing instructions in program code. The electronic device has a processor that includes a branch prediction functional block and a sequential fetch logic functional block. The sequential fetch logic functional block determines, based on a record associated with a CTI, that a specified number of fetch groups of instructions that were previously determined to include no CTIs are to be fetched for execution in sequence following the CTI. When each of the specified number of fetch groups is fetched and prepared for execution, the sequential fetch logic prevents corresponding accesses of the branch prediction functional block for acquiring branch prediction information for instructions in that fetch group.

  • Patent number: 11502911
Abstract: A network device is provisioned with a first data model of a first type and that models first properties for the network device, a second data model of a second type and that models second properties for the network device, and mappings that indicate mapped first properties among the first properties that are mapped to mapped second properties of the second properties. Upon receiving a request from a network for data for the first data model, the network device retrieves first data for the first properties of the first data model. The network device determines, based on the mappings, unmapped second properties of the second properties that are not mapped to any of the first properties. The network device retrieves, as dynamically augmented data, data for the unmapped second properties. The network device sends a request response including the first data and the dynamically augmented data.

  • Patent number: 11500761
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for analysis of code coverage differences across environments are disclosed. A code coverage profiling system determines a first code coverage profile associated with execution of program code in a first environment. The first code coverage profile indicates one or more portions of the program code that were executed in the first environment. The code coverage profiling system determines a second code coverage profile associated with execution of the program code in a second environment. The second code coverage profile indicates one or more portions of the program code that were executed in the second environment. The code coverage profiling system performs a comparison of the first code coverage profile and the second code coverage profile. The comparison determines a difference between the portions of the program code that were executed in the first and second environments.

  • Patent number: 11500763
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for distributed canary testing with test artifact caching are disclosed. Using one or more storage components, a test client stores one or more software artifacts for testing of a software product. The client initiates a first test of the software product using the software artifact(s) stored in the storage component(s). In the first test, the client sends a first set of requests to the software product at a first point in time. The client initiates a second test of the software product using the software artifact(s) stored in the storage component(s). In the second test, the client sends a second set of requests to the software product at a second point in time. The software artifact(s) are maintained in the storage component(s) between the first point in time and the second point in time.

  • Publication number: 20220349926
Abstract: An apparatus for selectively coupling a load to a grid power source and an inverter that is fed electric power by an alternate power source includes a first node coupled to the load. A grid sensor senses a state of the grid power source. A grid relay couples the grid power source to the first node when in a closed state and decouples the grid power source from the first node when in an open state. An inverter relay couples the inverter to the first node when in a closed state and decouples the inverter from the first node when in an open state. A controller is programmed to: cause the grid relay and the inverter relay to closed when the grid sensor indicates available grid power and cause the grid relay to open when grid power is not available;. A communications circuit senses a current state of the controller and wirelessly communicates a change of state of a selected one of the grid sensor and the controller to a remote device.

  • Publication number: 20220342745
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for using anomaly detection in timeseries data of user sentiment to detect incidents in computing systems and identify events within an enterprise. An anomaly detection system may receive social media messages that include a timestamp indicating when each message was published. The system may generate sentiment identifiers for the social media messages. The sentiment identifiers and timestamps associated with the social media messages may be used to generate a timeseries dataset for each type of sentiment identifier. The timeseries datasets may be input into an anomaly detection model to determine whether an anomaly has occurred. The system may retrieve textual data from the social media messages associated with the detected anomaly and may use the text to determine a computing system or event associated with the detected anomaly.

  • Publication number: 20220342523
Abstract: The Commissioning phase is usually the most Time/Labor intensive phase in the Fire Safety System life cycle as the process involves referring to the Building floor plan document (as provided by the Installer) and creation of Areas/Zones and carefully assigning each fire device (viz. Smoke/Heat detectors, MCP etc.) to the corresponding zones in the Panel configuration software to configure the Fire Panel. The overall process easily spans for multiple days based on the Building network complexity. The present invention provides a system, apparatus and method for rapid commissioning by providing a graphical interface in which device addresses can be uniquely allocated using an interactive screen. This avoids double address faults which can be time consuming to identify and rectify. Geographic information of the devices can also be identified and incorporated using the interactive screen.

  • Patent number: 11481254
Abstract: Managing batched jobs is provided. The method comprises receiving a job batch request from a client for a number of processing jobs. Each job is registered, and jobs that are ready for execution at a specified time are collected. For each collected job an instance of the job is locked to prevent duplicate execution. The locked jobs are queued, and a container is created for each job in the queue. A method of execution is determined for each job in the queue, and each job is then executed according the method determined for that job. Job events for each executing job are logged, a determination if a job was completed successfully is made according to its respective job events. A job status is updated for each completed job. The container of each completed job is then destroyed, and each completed job is unlocked.
