  • Patent number: 12606014
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for performing a reverse purge of an evaporative emissions canister in a vehicle with a sealed variable volume fuel tank. In one example, a method may comprise in response to an ambient temperature reducing during a diurnal temperature cycle, and further in response to the EVAP canister loaded with fuel vapors above a threshold, closing a valve positioned at an atmospheric port of the fuel tank and opening a fuel tank isolation valve. In one example, the fuel tank isolation valve may be in fluid communication between the fuel tank and the EVAP canister. In this way, it is possible to convert a sealed variable volume fuel tank to a vented pressurized fuel tank and initiate a reverse purge during the cooldown hours of the diurnal temperature cycle.

  • Publication number: 20260059240
Abstract: Various sounds are reproduced in a passenger cabin of a transportation vehicle with a plurality of positions for seating respective persons who may have differential hearing losses between a right ear and a left ear. A dominant ear and a nondominant ear are identified of a particular user in a respective seating position. Electrical audio signals are generated in a sound source intended for reproduction by an array of speakers disposed within the passenger cabin for directing reproduced sounds toward the seating positions from respective directions. The audio signals are differentially adjusted before sending them to the array of speakers such that reproduced sounds directed to the nondominant ear are attenuated in relation to the reproduced sounds directed to the dominant ear (i.e., the sound to the dominant ear is enhanced).

  • Patent number: 12503117
Abstract: A vehicle having a transceiver and a processor is disclosed. The transceiver may receive environment condition, road condition, and vehicle information. The processor may be communicatively coupled with the transceiver, and may obtain the environment condition, the road condition, and the vehicle information from the transceiver. The processor may determine that the vehicle may be in an unstable driving state based on the obtained condition. Responsive to determining that the vehicle may be in the unstable driving state, the processor may determine a vehicle instability type based on the environment condition, the road condition, and the vehicle information. The processor may be further configured to generate a first instruction for a first vehicle wheel and a second instruction for a second vehicle wheel based on the vehicle instability type, and cause a vehicle movement based on the first instruction and the second instruction.
