    Abstract: Techniques are described for using a dedicated-scan radio to improve scanning and other radio operations performed during wireless communications. The techniques include configuring a dedicated-scan radio to collect and cache scan results without interfering with ongoing wireless communication tasks performed using primary radios. Based on the scan results cached by the dedicated-scan radio, the computing device improves other radio operations in furtherance of wireless communications. Cached scan results enable a primary radio to avoid, or to focus on, scanning certain channels or frequencies during discovering, positioning, or roaming operations. By using the dedicated-scan results as a starting point or seed for functions performed by a primary radio, the computing device may more quickly and more efficiently perform radio functions, minimizing latency to ongoing wireless communications.

During the MU-OFDMA mode, the electronic device determines that an uplink-queue size is greater than a first threshold size. Responsive to the determining, the electronic device opts out of the MU-OFDMA mode and enters a single-user mode to contend for a transmit channel for transmitting uplink data.

The key and at least a portion of the file are received from the requestor. Uploading of the file to the non-indexing file storage system in lieu of the transactional database is initiated.

For example, an NR NB determines to alter a configuration of a UE. The NR NB transmits a coordinated RRC container with coordinated UE parameters to an LTE NB and transmits a UE parameter RRC container to the LTE NB. The LTE NB evaluates the coordinated container for compliance with the UE capability. If satisfied, the LTE NB can send both containers (in a single RRC message or multiple RRC messages) to the UE.

The x-ray sensor holder emits infrared light towards the body, which is detected by an infrared camera on the front of the body. The image produced by the infrared camera, which shows the crowns of the teeth, is used to align the transmitted x-rays with the tooth and the x-ray sensor holder.

In a support service scenario for products or services, a determination is made based on an interaction with a customer that additional verification is needed. An authentication code is communicated to the customer via a mode chosen by the customer. At the same time, a hash of the authentication code is stored along with session and customer details. The customer is prompted to provide the authentication code and a hash of the provided authentication code is compared to the hash of the authentication code that was stored with the session and customer details. If the hashes match, it can be presumed that the agent is communicating with the correct customer and customer details are revealed. If the hashes do not match, the agent does not see any private customer details.
