    Abstract: A fuel-flow-rate control device, a power generation system, and a fuel-flow-rate control method which can prevent overshooting of a gas turbine output (gas turbine inlet temperature) and which can improve power generation efficiency are provided. The fuel-flow-rate control device includes a computing portion for obtaining a state quantity relating to operating conditions and temperature conditions of a gas turbine as an input signal and computing a fuel-flow-rate command for controlling a fuel flow rate supplied to a combustor based on the above input signal, and a second selection circuit for setting the above fuel-flow-rate command to be not more than a fuel-flow-rate upper limit. The fuel-flow-rate upper limit is a fuel flow rate at which the gas turbine inlet temperature is set to be not more than a predetermined upper temperature limit.

A volumetric ratio (V) in which the powder is filled in the matrix is set such that a standardized value expressed as a value obtained by dividing a complex relative permeability (??) of the electromagnetic wave absorber in a frequency band to be absorbed thereby by the volumetric ratio (V) is constant as far as the particle diameter of the powder used, as expressed by the D50 value, is within the range of 3 to 20 ?m.

    Abstract: An improved human motion applicator assures a quick and sufficient amount of displacement given to a part of a human body. The applicator includes a support adapted to be fitted on the part of the human body. The support carries at least one electro-active elastic actuator in a force-transmitting relation to the human part. The actuator includes a dielectric core and a pair of electrodes on opposite of the core for receiving a driving DC voltage thereacross. The elastic actuator has a length and elastically deforms in the lengthwise direction to exert a stretching force to the human part to a greater extent as the driving DC voltage increase. The applicator also includes a controller which applies the driving DC voltage of varying levels to the elastic actuator, thereby generating a varying motion-inducing force to be applied to the part of the human body.

    Abstract: An electrode plate of a rechargeable battery that is capable of preventing wastage of a base film and preventing an active material layer from being irregularly formed and a method for fabricating the same is disclosed. The electrode plate is fabricated by continuously coating the active material layer lengthwise along a surface of the base film and cutting the base film in a direction substantially perpendicular to a length of the base film or in a direction that forms a predetermined angle in relation to the length of the base film. The method includes forming an active material layer lengthwise on a base film except for on predetermined parts of both ends of the base film by continuously coating active materials, and forming an electrode plate by cutting the base film formed with the active material layer in a direction substantially perpendicular to the length of the base film using a cutter.

The capacitance means may be either a chip condenser 5, or that formed by disposing an internal line 7 of another conductive strip with intermediation of insulating film 6 to bridge on the input signal line 2 and the output signal line 3 to have overlapping parts.

    Abstract: By sealing a diaphragm with less processes and lower cost and reducing deformation due to remaining stress, a stable and highly reliable pressure sensor construction is proposed. The pressure sensor is low in measurement error and small in floating capacitance and leakage current and good in characteristic. As a means to attain the above object, a polycrystalline silicon diaphragm is sealed with a silicon oxide film deposited through a LPCVD method and then completely covered. The diaphragm is placed on a surface of a semiconductor substrate with a nearly constant gap of 0.15 to 1.3 ?m, and has difference-in-grade constructions of a deformation reducing means due to remaining stress.
