  • Publication number: 20040162990
Abstract: A data transfer method, a data transfer apparatus, a data sending apparatus, and a data receiving apparatus for encrypting and transferring data and in particular, a data transfer method, a data transfer apparatus, a data sending apparatus and a data receiving apparatus capable of transferring data in safety. In a data transfer method for transferring data from a sender to a receiver, a calculation algorithm for encrypting the data supplied from the sender to the receiver is encrypted at the receiver and transmitted from the receiver to a sender.

  • Patent number: 4912565
Abstract: In an image recording system the size of recording pixels (7) is not necessarily an integer multiple of the size of original pixel (2). A plurality of original images are combined to produce a recorded image based on the combination of the original pixels. In the process, the spatial relationship between the respective pixel arrangements of an original pixel array and a recording pixel array is detected. Based on that spatial relationship, a plurality of original pixels which surround each recorded pixel are specified and the pixel image data for the specified original pixels are interpolated to obtain each datum in the recorded pixels. This interpolation process is carried out for all recording pixels except for those recording pixels in which there is detected to occur a combination boundary of the original images.

  • Patent number: 4812916
Abstract: Image processing conditions for scanning and processing an original by an electronic process scanner are set by an external image processing condition setting apparatus wherein a first system of coordinates is prepared in the scanner for processing, and a second system of coordinates is prepared in the image processing condition setting apparatus for position setting. An original cylinder is commonly used by both the scanner and apparatus, and by using a marked line formed on the surface of the cylinder as a reference position, both systems of coordinates are matched. A visual monitoring device which projects an image of a register mark onto the surface of the original cylinder is used in setting the image processing conditions. The visual monitoring device magnifies the image of the mark and a peripheral area of the surface of the cylinder, thereby enabling an operator to accurately locate a given position on the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4617578
Abstract: A method for recording a plurality of reproduction picture images of an original picture in which multiple laser beams modulated by an acoustic-optical modulator according to picture signals obtained by scanning the original picture in a scanning image reproduction system and an apparatus for carrying out the above described method. Particularly in the invention there is disclosed a means for adjusting mutual distance between each of the plurality of parallel laser beams in response to desired scanning line pitches.

  • Patent number: 4055963
Abstract: Improvements in a heating system which heats a fluid medium by a heat exchanger and delivers it to an indoor coil or coils for space heating. Refrigerant, such as fluorohydrocarbons for refrigerators, is utilized as the heating medium. The heat exchanger is supplied with heat from a heat source, such as hot water from a boiler, at a temperature higher than that of air around the exchanger. The refrigerant in liquid form is heated while being vaporized in the heat exchanger at a pressure greater than the saturation pressure corresponding to the ambient air temperature. The medium thus gasified to a high pressure and temperature is drawn into a circulating pump and then delivered to the indoor coil or coils, where it is condensed to a liquid with heat dissipation. In this way a great heating capacity is attained with the heating medium at a low rate of circulation.
