  • Patent number: 8730234
Abstract: The invention provides an image display apparatus for displaying three cross sectional images for enabling efficient observation of a three-dimensional distribution of the images between a plurality of positions of interest when there are the plurality of positions of interest (abnormal shadow candidates) in three-dimensional medical image data. The apparatus determines a display switch parameter for each coordinate axis according to a positional relationship between a first position of interest and a second position of interest on a displayed image for each coordinate axis, and displays the cross sectional images by switching the cross sectional images in parallel from the first position of interest toward the second position of interest according to the determined display switch parameter.

  • Patent number: 8216723
Abstract: A polymer electrolyte; and an electrochemical device utilizing the polymer electrolyte. In accordance with the diffusion of cell-phone and other portable information devices and in accordance with the recent-year development of new use of power source for hybrid electric automobile, etc., enhanced reliability is increasingly demanded on electrochemical devices, such as battery, for use as the power source thereof. Although generally a liquid electrolyte is employed in electrochemical devices, the liquid electrolyte is likely to induce trouble, such as liquid leakage, presenting a major factor for reliability loss. Accordingly, use of a polymer electrolyte in place of the liquid electrolyte to attain an enhancement of reliability is being studied. However, conventional polymer electrolytes have had the problem that it is difficult to simultaneously satisfy ion conductivity and reliability.

  • Patent number: 7582930
Abstract: A coupling oxide film is formed on a silicon substrate, a polysilicon film is further formed thereupon, and a low-temperature oxide film is deposited to a thickness of 10 nm, for example. Next, a silicon nitride film is formed on this low-temperature oxide film, and selectively removed by dry etching. At this time, the low-temperature oxide film serves as an etching stopper film, so the low-temperature oxide film and polysilicon film are not over-etched. Subsequently, the polysilicon film is dry-etched, forming a recess. A floating gate is then formed of the polysilicon film.

  • Patent number: 7460405
Abstract: Data is written to a nonvolatile memory device having a memory region of four bits or larger in one memory cell sandwiched by a source and a drain with an improved accuracy. The nonvolatile memory device 100 includes four control gates 114 to 117 provided between a first and a second impurity-diffused regions 106a and 160b that are provided separately from the semiconductor substrate, and a memory cell including memory regions 106a to 106d that are counterpart of the control gates. A method for controlling the nonvolatile memory device 100 includes classifying the four control gates 114 to 100 into two groups of right and left sides, and then, applying a lower voltage to an impurity-diffused region that is further from a target memory region for injecting an electron and applying a higher voltage to an impurity-diffused region that is closer the target memory region, and moreover applying a higher voltage, the higher voltage being higher than voltages applied to other control gates.
