Abstract: According to example embodiments, a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) is included. The method generally includes performing channel estimation at a plurality of frequency locations based on reference signals (RS) transmitted from at least one transmission point, computing at least one channel feedback metric for each frequency location, and transmitting the channel feedback metrics to the transmission point. According to certain aspects, a method for wireless communications by a base station (BS) is provided. The BS may receive channel feedback metrics from a UE, calculated at a plurality of frequency locations based on RSs transmitted from the BS. The BS may perform interpolation to determine values for channel feedback metrics for frequency locations between frequency locations of the received channel feedback metrics.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to monitor media presentations are disclosed. An example method includes collecting demographic information from a user. The demographic information is transmitted to a central facility. A panelist identifier identifying the user is generated. The panelist identifier is stored in a shared memory of the media device, the panelist identifier to be retrieved by a monitoring enabled application, the monitoring enabled application to collect monitoring information if the panelist identifier is in the shared memory and to disable collection of the media monitoring information if the panelist identifier is not in the shared memory.

Abstract: Techniques are described for generating a unique identifier by a first processor using a plurality of values including a shared value, the first processor's identifier, a container identifier and a time value. The shared value is a common value used by a plurality of processors including the first processor. The container identifier identifies a memory location. The time value denotes an amount of time that has elapsed since the first processor was last booted.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention detail systems, computer program products, and methods for providing a review bucket for video conferences. In an exemplary embodiment the system presents on a display a review bucket widget that is configured to receive a plurality of discussion topics for use in a video conference communication session between the customer and a business agent that represents a particular entity. To this extent, the system may additionally receive, within the review bucket widget, an identifier of at least one discussion topic that the customer is interested in discussing during the video conference communication session and transmit the at least one discussion topic to the business agent.

Abstract: Disclosed are a patch, system, and method for delivery of a permeant composition into a subject via at least one formed pathway through a biological membrane of the subject. The patch comprises a matrix, at least one hydrophilic permeant disposed within the matrix, wherein at least a portion of the permeant can dissolve in biological moisture received from the subject, and at least one permeability enhancer disposed within the matrix. Also disclosed are systems and methods for delivery of a permeant composition into a subject via at least one formed pathway through a skin layer of the subject.

Abstract: A method of evaluating a potential location to add a wireless field device to an existing network of a plurality of existing wireless field devices is provided. The method includes placing a handheld field maintenance tool in the potential location and causing the handheld field maintenance tool to identify wireless field devices within communicative range of the potential location. Information related to wireless communication at the potential location is viewed. Methods are also provided for identifying a selected field device in a process installation using a handheld field maintenance tool.

The ladder attachment includes an outer ladder assembly with a pair of rails connected by steps, an inner ladder assembly with a pair of rails connected by steps, the inner ladder assembly rails being slidably mounted to the outer ladder assembly rails to one of a plurality of locking positions, and a platform rotatably mounted to a top portion of the inner ladder assembly. The outer ladder assembly is positioned on a ground surface proximate the vehicle and the platform is rotatably adjusted to rest on top of a tire of the vehicle, thereby enabling a user to stand on the platform or the steps of the ladder assemblies.

Abstract: A system and method may generate executable block diagrams having blocks that run in accordance with message-based execution semantics. A message may include an input data payload that does not change over time, and the message may persist for only a determined time interval during execution of block diagram. A verification engine may provide one or more tools for evaluating and verifying operation of message-based blocks. The verification engine may support one or more verification blocks that may be added to the block diagram and associated with the diagram's message-based blocks. The verification blocks may capture and present messages exchanged among the message-based blocks. The verification blocks may also specify an expected interaction of messages, and determine whether the actual messages are equivalent to the expected interaction.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes descriptions of various aspects of unified communication (UC) systems, including UC management and analysis systems and related tools and techniques. Described systems, tools, and techniques are adapted for enhanced UC data capture, analysis, and reporting; enhanced UC monitoring services; and a user survey service that can be used for conducting user surveys related to UC services. Embodiments disclosed herein include computer systems and methods that can be used for analyzing service level objectives for call quality, classifying calls into distinct categories, and real-time user notification of call quality and reliability issues.

Abstract: For automated text processing, the inventors devised, among other things, an exemplary system that includes an entity tagger, an entity resolver, a text segment classifier, and a relationship extractor. The entity tagger receives an input text segment, and tags named entities with the segment as being a person, company, or place. The entity resolver accesses authority files, and associates the persons and companies named in the text segment with specific entries in the files. The text segment classifier determines whether the text segment includes a relationship event, such as job-change event or merger and acquisition event, and if an event is detected, the relationship extractor determines the event role of entities named in the segment. For example, the extractor determines for a merger and acquisition event, which named company was the acquirer and which was acquired.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods are disclosed for gain and offset trimming. In one exemplary embodiment, an apparatus includes a first circuit that includes a first transconductance stage to generate a first current. The first circuit has an output offset. The apparatus further includes an offset trim circuit, which includes a second circuit to provide an output voltage selectable from a plurality of voltage values, and a second transconductance stage to generate a second current in response to the output voltage of the second circuit. The output offset of the first circuit is trimmed by adding the second current to the first current.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are cell cultures comprising dorsal and/or ventral PDX1-positive foregut endoderm cells and methods of producing the same. Also disclosed herein are cell populations comprising substantially purified dorsal and/or ventral PDX1-positive foregut endoderm cells as well as methods for enriching, isolating and purifying dorsal and/or ventral PDX1-positive foregut endoderm cells from other cell types. Methods of identifying differentiation factors capable of promoting the differentiation of dorsal and/or ventral PDX1-positive foregut endoderm cells, are also disclosed.
