The grounding link includes a bushing interface portion, a cap receiving portion, and a tap portion, wherein the grounding link further includes a grounding element extending between the bushing interface portion and a cap receiving portion, and wherein the bushing interface portion of the grounding link is configured for insertion into a bore in elbow-type power cable electrical connector. The grounding element includes an exposed portion projecting above a surface of the grounding link, wherein the exposed portion of the grounding element is configured for attachment by a grounded hot line clamp to ground the electrical connector assembly. The tap portion is configured for receipt of a second elbow connector to conductively couple the second elbow connector to the elbow-type power cable electrical connector.

Abstract: A printed circuit board power cell having a printed circuit board including a DC bus disposed within the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board power cell includes a plurality of capacitors connected to the DC bus, a three-phase AC input disposed on the printed circuit board and a single-phase AC output disposed on the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board power cell also includes a power module connected to the DC bus, the three-phase AC input and the single-phase AC output, wherein the power module receives three phase AC input power via the three-phase AC input and responsively outputs a single-phase AC power via the single-phase AC output.

Abstract: Bone compression systems for internal fixation of bone portions include one or more spring washers having ultra high load capacity and ultra low displacement to close diminution gaps that develop in a discontinuity between the bone portions after fixation. The spring washers, individually or in stacks of up to four, provide installation loads between 1500 N and 4000 N. After closing diminution gaps, the spring washers or stacks provide sustained loads between 1000 N and 3000 N which stabilize the bone portions sufficiently to permit early load bearing. The sustained loads correspond to sustained average local bone stress just below the bone growth trigger threshold stress. The additional loads of early load bearing will create average local bone stress above the bone growth trigger threshold. By bone stress repeatedly passing through the bone growth trigger threshold stress, bone healing is optimized.

Abstract: In accordance with one exemplary embodiment, a target body of a target system for an isotope production system is disclosed. The target body includes a target chamber having a first chamber with a first surface area and a second chamber with a second surface area greater than the first surface area. The first chamber is configured to hold a liquid target medium for bombardment by a charged particle beam. A component is coupled to the target body and configured to generate a radioactivity.

Abstract: This invention presents a method for overcoming limitation in brightness and heating effects for LED based Precision Approach Path Indicators and allowing both colors to be imaged in the far field with the proper abrupt transition between the red and white sectors. This method relies on the use of linear arrays of LED's and cylindrical optics.

Abstract: A method for allowing cardiac signals to be sensed and pacing pulse vectors to be delivered between two or more electrodes. In one embodiment, cardiac signals are sensed and pacing pulse vectors are delivered between at least one of a first left ventricular electrode and a second left ventricular electrode. Alternatively, cardiac signals are sensed and pacing pulse vectors are delivered between different combinations of the first and second left ventricular electrodes and a first supraventricular electrode. In addition, cardiac signals are sensed and pacing pulse vectors are delivered between different combinations of the first and second left ventricular electrode, the first supraventricular electrode and a conductive housing. In an additional embodiment, a first right ventricular electrode is used to sense cardiac signals and provide pacing pulses with different combinations of the first and second left ventricular electrodes, the first supraventricular electrode and the housing.

Abstract: A filtration module for comprises a filter housing defining two or more filter compartments. The housing has an input side with a gas inlet in fluid communication with each of the filter compartments and a gas outlet in fluid communication with each of the filter compartments. A filter element resides in each of the compartments intermediate the gas inlet to the compartment and the gas outlet from the compartment. One application for the filtration module is a respiratory therapy device.

Abstract: Systems, computer-implemented methods and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are provided for calculating drag and pull metrics in a multi-calendar schedule. A driving relationship is a relationship that determines the start date of its successor (task). Driving relationships are identified during schedule calculation. Driving successor paths, consisting of a path of tasks and relationships where each relationship is a driving relationship, are identified. Post schedule calculation, drag and pull are calculated for any driving paths in the schedule by iteratively recalculating the schedule (forward pass—early start, early finish) while incrementing the duration of each task on the driving path (one task at a time) one time unit per iteration (starting from zero and working up to the task's original duration) and measuring the effect on the end (early finish of the last task) of its successor driving path.

Abstract: A phase-frequency detector (PFD) is electrically coupled to a charge pump of a phase-locked-loop (PLL). The PFD includes a first differential latch electrically coupled to the charge pump. The first differential latch drives a differential pair of increment signals to the charge pump in response to differential pairs of both reference clock signals and reset signals. The PFD also includes a second differential latch electrically coupled to the charge pump. The second differential latch drives a differential pair of decrement signals to the charge pump in response to differential pairs of both feedback clock signals and reset signals. The PFD also includes a differential AND gate electrically coupled to both the first differential latch and the second differential latch. The differential AND gate drives the differential pair of reset signals to both of the differential latches in response to the differential pairs of both increment signals and decrement signals.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for aiding in charging an electronic device using a charging case. The charging case includes a conductive contact and may connect to a conductive contact of the electronic device while still allowing user access to the main connector port of the electronic device. The charging case includes a power module that may receive power from an external power source. The power module may include an inductive coupling coil, photovoltaic cells, or a power cable port. Circuitry within the charging case may control and transmit power from the power module to the electronic device through the conductive contacts. The charging case may include a battery. The charging case may also include a data module for receiving data from an external data source, and the case circuitry may process and transmit data from the data module to the electronic device through the conductive contacts.

Abstract: A method of managing a buffer (or buffer memory) includes utilizing one or more shared pool buffers, one or more port/priority buffers and a global multicast pool. When packets are received, a shared pool buffer is utilized; however, if a packet does not fit in the shared pool buffer, then the appropriate port/priority buffer is used. If the packet is a multicast packet, then the global multicast pool is utilized for copies of the packet.

These mailpieces pass through a sorting system in which the presence of value labels that have a surface containing luminescent particles which are distributed essentially evenly is checked. The mailpiece having such a surface is conveyed to a marking device. Here, the substrate in the form of the surface of the value label containing luminescent particles which are distributed essentially evenly is irradiated with high-energy radiation. In this process, wherever the radiation strikes the substrate, the luminescence of the particles is destroyed to such an extent that they are no longer detected as being luminescent when they pass through the sorting system once again.
