Abstract: A system for providing login to a network of a cloud service provider via more than one region is described herein. For example, the system and approaches may store authentication information in multiple regions allowing for authentication in the multiple regions.

Abstract: An approach of performing data center failover using an address that indicates a backup data center. The address includes common names indicating a data center with a domain and a backup datacenter with a replica of the domain. A cloud service provider can receive the address, establish a connection with an available data center, and failover to the backup data center if the data center with the connection becomes unavailable.

Abstract: An identity management and authorization system (IMAS) receives a request to download an application to a user device associated with a user. The IMAS downloads, to the user device, a template application instance corresponding to the requested application, the template application instance having a reduced functionality than the requested application. The IMAS receives, from the user device, a request to register to the downloaded template.

Abstract: Described herein is a framework for generating an integrated identity and access management (IAM) system from a first IAM system and a second IAM system that is different than the first IAM system. The integrated IAM system is generated by: (i) creating a domain in a customer tenancy associated with the first IAM system, and (ii) embedding an identity provider of the second IAM system within the domain. The integrated IAM system receives a request from a user to perform an operation with respect to resource associated with the second IAM system. Upon the user being successfully authenticated by the integrated IAM system, the request is executed.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for granting an application of a first type of identity system, which uses a first type of identity token, access to a second type of identity system, which uses a second type of identity token. An application can make a request to a token exchange system. The request can include a bearer token and a public key of the application. The token exchange system can exchange the bearer token for a Proof-of-Possession token after performing verification steps. A token exchange system can exchange the first token (e.g., bearer token) for the first identity system for the second token (e.g., Proof-of-Possession token) for the second identity system without requiring entry of credentials to access the second identity system.

Abstract: A framework for migrating a customer tenancy from a first identity and access management (TAM) system to a second IAM system. A first snapshot of the customer tenancy is obtained from a first data storage. The first snapshot is processed and migrated to the second IAM system. A second snapshot of the customer tenancy is obtained from a second data storage and migrated to the second IAM system. A state of a lock associated with the second data storage is modified, where after a third snapshot of the customer tenancy is obtained from the second data storage and migrated to the second IAM system. Responsive to the third snapshot being migrated, directing a request regarding the customer tenancy to the second IAM system.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to a CI replication service that can replicate domain data from IDCS control plane to data plane and to all subscribed regions of a domain. For instance, the CI replication service can provide replication of required resources of a domain for AuthN and AuthZ from an IDCS local region to other regions for high availability (e.g., to improve latency). The CI replication service can replicate the resources from a domain's home region to all subscribed regions for local availability of data for workloads running in those regions. Further, when a new region is subscribed for a domain, then the service can bootstrap that domain's data from home region before enabling that region for the domain.

Abstract: Systems and methods for combined authorization for entities within a domain are described. One aspect relates to a method. The method can include receiving a request for a user to take an action in a first system and determining a first authorization status of the action by the user with the first system. The method can include determining a second authorization status of the action by the user with a second system, determining a union of the first authorization status and the second authorization status, and comparing the union of the first authorization status and the second authorization status to authorization criteria.

A utility line and a pair of insulated wires are attached to the drill string at the exit point. An observation device is also attached to the drill string, and the observation device is connected with an uphole module via power line communication (PLC) over the pair of insulated wires. The horizontal directional drilling machine performs a pullback of the drill string, with the utility line, the pair of insulated wires, and the observation device connected thereto, back toward the entry point. Data from the observation device are displayed on the uphole module during pullback of the drill string.

The clip can also have a first set of arms extending from the first end of the clip body adapted to engage a first reentrant lip of a strut channel when the cylindrical object is received in the notch and a second set of arms extending from a second end of the clip body adapted to be resiliently flexible for engagement with a second reentrant lip of the strut channel.

Abstract: A system and method for analyzing biological samples, such as dried human blood serum, to determine a disease state such as colorectal cancer (CRC). Using dried samples may hold potential for enhancing localized concentration and/or segmentation of sample components. The method may comprise illuminating at least one location of a biological sample to generate a plurality of interacted photons, collecting the interacted photons and generating at least one Raman data set representative of the biological sample. A system may comprise an illumination source to illuminate at least one location of a biological sample and generate at least one plurality of interacted photons, at least one mirror for directing the interacted photons to a detector. The detector may be configured to generate at least one Raman data set representative of the biological sample. The system and method may utilize a FAST device for multipoint analysis or may be configured to analyze a sample using a line scanning configuration.

In an example, a tutorial deployment application accesses a content segment and a condition for displaying the content segment. The application generates a tutorial object including code to display the content segment. The application integrates the tutorial object into the set of runtime tags by selecting a tag from a set of runtime tags that control operations of a website and links the tag with the tutorial object. Based on a performance of the operation, the condition is met, and the tag is executed, causing the tutorial object to be loaded and executed by the website and the content segment to be displayed by the website.

Abstract: The disclosure facilitates a transaction by verifying a transaction claim request. An initiation request, including sender location data indicating a sender location, is received from a sender. A first transaction identifier associated with the transaction and the sender location data are recorded in a data structure. A claim request is received from a candidate recipient, the claim request including a second transaction identifier and recipient location data indicating a recipient location. The first and second transaction identifier are compared. The sender location and recipient location are compared based on a defined range. Based on the first and second transaction identifiers matching and the recipient location being within the defined range of the sender location, the claim request is verified, providing confirmation that the recipient is an intended recipient.

Abstract: A balcony inspection vent system provides an easily accessible port for inspecting balconies in multifamily residential and commercial buildings. The balcony inspection vent is configured to be installed on the underside of a balcony between the several structural joists supporting the balconies allowing access to the open stud bays for inspecting the structural integrity of the balcony. The balcony inspection vent system consists of a metal frame fixed to the structural joists using threaded fasteners. The frame includes a stucco retaining edge for concealing the frame within the balcony surface. The balcony inspection vent system consists of a hinged access door having a mesh screen to allow easy ventilation to the underside of the balcony. The hinged access door is attached to the vent frame on one side, and the other side of the door is free and openable using a handle (latch), allowing inspection of the underlying structural components.
