  • Publication number: 20200258156
Abstract: A system and method are provided that, among other things, can reduce the burden on receiving computers, increase data throughput, reduce system failure, and provide components of a scalable and flexible network architecture. Specifically, the system and method provide a multichannel-multicast network environment for use in dynamically assigning data to channels. This configuration is particularly useful in a trading network environment, as it effectively performs channel reassignments in a way not to disturb the receipt of the underlying data. While the example embodiments described herein pertain to electronic trading, the principles of the present invention may be equally applied in other environments where the advantages presented herein are beneficial.

  • Publication number: 20200221366
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for predictive media streaming using microlocation. Microlocations of a mobile device can be determined by measuring one or more sensor values at one or more times, the one or more sensor values are determined from one or more signals emitted by a corresponding one or more signal sources. Streaming events can be stored at the mobile device. Each streaming event may include a destination device for playing media and a cluster location, the cluster location corresponding to sensor values that are spatially near each other. A selection of a media item is detected and one or more current sensor values are measured. A current cluster location can be identified using the one or more current sensor value. The current cluster location and the streaming events can identify a particular destination device for playing the selected media item.

  • Patent number: 10705972
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for determining preferred memory page management policies by software are disclosed. Software executing on one or more processing units generates a memory request. Software determines the preferred page management policy for the memory request based at least in part on the data access size and data access pattern of the memory request. Software conveys an indication of a preferred page management policy to a memory controller. Then, the memory controller accesses memory for the memory request using the preferred page management policy specified by software.

  • Patent number: 10706101
Abstract: Methods and mechanisms for managing data in a hash table are disclosed. A computing system includes a hash table configured to store data and hash management logic. In response to receiving a request to insert data into the hash table, the hash management logic is configured to generate a first hash value by applying a first hash function to the key of the key-value pair, and identify a first bucket within the hash table that corresponds to the first hash table. If the first bucket has a slot available, store the key-value pair in the slot. If the first bucket does not have a slot available, select a first slot of the first bucket for conversion to a remap entry, store the key-value pair in a second bucket, and store information associating the key-value pair with the second bucket in the remap entry.
