Abstract: Systems, devices and methods are described herein for segmentation of content, and more specifically for segmentation of content in a content management system. In one aspect, a method may include receiving content associated with speech, text, or closed captioning data. The speech, the text, or the closed captioning data may be analyzed to derive at least one of a topic, subject, or event for at least a portion of the content. The content may be divided into two or more content segments based on the analyzing. At least one of the topic, the subject, or the event may be associated with at least one of the two or more content segments based on the analyzing. At least one of the two or more content segments may then be published such that each of the two or more content segments is individually accessible.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for optimizing the presentation of content through obtaining viewership metrics, generating multiple renditions of presentations of content, and selecting optimized renditions of content. One aspect includes associating a request for viewership metrics with a presentation of content, publishing the presentation of content, and receiving information of the viewership metrics associated with the presentation. Another aspect includes copying a presentation of a content item, creating a second presentation of the content item for publishing over one or more channels, and linking the presentation of the content item to the second presentation of the content item, such that a change to one propagates to the other of the presentation of the content item or the second presentation of the content item. In yet another aspect, a content rendition may be selected for presentation based on performance of the rendition out of multiple renditions in an auction.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are described herein for distributing syndicated content or content with one or more distribution restrictions. In one aspect, a method may include assigning a unique ID to a plurality of content items, where the unique ID of at least one of the content items is associated with one or more property distribution restrictions. The method may further include streaming in a video stream the content items to at least two properties and monitoring the unique IDs of the plurality of content items streamed in the video stream to detect least one content item associated with the one or more property distribution restrictions. The distribution of the least one content item associated with the one or more property distribution restrictions may be blocked from the one or more properties concurrently with streaming the video stream, based on the one or more property distribution restrictions.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described herein for placing secondary content into a break of unknown duration in a stream of primary content. In one aspect the described techniques may include receiving information indicative of a break in streaming of the primary content, such as metadata data that is inserted into the stream of primary content, for example, on a client device. A duration of the stream of the primary content may be obtained. Secondary content may be played, for example during a break in the streaming of the primary content. Upon detecting that the duration of the stream of the primary content has increased to a second duration, for example, in response to the client device receiving additional primary content, the primary content may be streamed.

Abstract: A tonneau cover latching mechanism is described. The tonneau cover latching mechanism provides for the tonneau cover to be slammed or closed shut in a single motion and engage at two points on the pick-up truck to secure the tonneau cover in a closed position. The tonneau cover latching mechanism may include a lockable handle. A link is engaged to the handle. The link is engaged to a spring loading mechanism. A first rod is rotatably engaged to the spring loading mechanism. A second rod is rotatably engaged to the spring loading mechanism. The first rod engages and disengages the first striker. The second rod engages and disengages a second striker.

Abstract: An air conditioning unit including a condenser, a compressor, an evaporator system having an evaporator coil and a plurality of evaporator fins in contact with the evaporator coil, wherein the evaporator system forms a generally hollow cylindrical shape, a blower having an intake side and an exhaust side, the blower adapted to draw a volume of air through the plurality of evaporator fins and expel the volume of air in a direction generally perpendicular with a longitudinal axis of the evaporator system, and an exhaust shroud arranged adjacent the exhaust side of the blower, wherein the exhaust shroud is adapted for rotational movement about the longitudinal axis of the evaporator system, the compressor is arranged in fluid communication with the evaporator system and the condenser, and the evaporator is arranged in fluid communication with the condenser.

Abstract: A suppressor with configurable baffles has a tubular body defining a bore, a muzzle mount facility on the body, a stack of a plurality of baffles closely received in the bore, each of the baffles defining a primary aperture, each of the baffles having an asymmetric gas flow feature, the primary apertures being aligned on a common axis, each of the baffles having an alignment facility operable to mate with the alignment facility of an adjacent baffle such that a relative rotational position is established, and each alignment facility including a plurality of orientation features at selected rotational intervals about the common axis, such that each baffle is operable to engage an adjacent baffle in a plurality of different alternative orientations at which the respective asymmetric gas flow features are relatively oriented in a selectable position.

Abstract: In one implementation for providing a user interface of a software application, a request to enable a user to perceive the user interface of the software application may be received. A context and a user interface expression may be determined based on the request. The user interface expression may be evaluated based on the context to generate a user interface definition. The user interface definition may be provided to a user interface renderer. The user interface renderer may be configured to process the user interface definition to enable the user to perceive the user interface.

Abstract: Graphical elements displayed on a two-dimensional display screen have an appearance that is consistent with a three-dimensional view of those elements over a range of viewing angles. A current viewing angle of a user is determined, and a view of an element to be rendered can be determined that includes an orientation appropriate for the current viewing angle. An image manipulation process is applied in order to enable the element to have the determined view from the current viewing angle of the user, taking into account the angle of the display screen with respect to the user. In at least some embodiments, an anamorphic skewing process can be used to correlate locations on the display screen with apparent positions of those locations at the current viewing angle, and cause the graphical elements to be rendered on the display screen with a skew or distortion based on the correlated locations.

Abstract: This disclosure is generally directed to a parent-infant-interactive, sensory-stimulation toy and associated methods of use. Such a toy features an interchangeable elongated feather-like tail member used for gently and playfully stroking a baby's body, wherein the material use for the feather-like member can be made from various types of irresistibly touchable and non-toxic (and preferably hypoallergenic), baby-safe materials of various textures and different sensations. Such materials include, but are not limited to, silks and velvet that are specially configured to provide the desired touch sensory stimulation while eliminating a choking hazard. The toy features a soft and squeezable body member with other graspable appendages and sound-emanating internal components (bells, rattles, crinkle paper, etc.), and the toy as a whole is artistically designed to be visually stimulating to a child, often being fashioned after various animals and/or imaginary characters.

Abstract: A manufacturing fixture includes a rigid base defining a control plane. A first cone locator pin has a first longitudinal axis. The first cone locator pin is connected to the rigid base with the first longitudinal axis orthogonal to the control plane to engage a complementary locating aperture defined in a workpiece. The first cone locator pin engages the complementary locating aperture to locate the workpiece and constrain translation of the workpiece with respect to the control plane. A second cone locator pin has a second longitudinal axis. The second cone locator pin is connected to the rigid base with the second longitudinal axis orthogonal to the control plane to engage a complementary locating hole defined in a workpiece. The second cone locator pin engages the complementary locating hole to locate the workpiece and prevent rotation of the workpiece about the first longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A cabinet with a door sequencer is described. The cabinet includes a first door and a second door to close an opening of the cabinet. A first gas spring closes the first door before a second gas spring closes the second door. The door sequencer automatically closes the first and second doors in a correct order to promote compliance with safety regulations.

Abstract: A high frequency inductive emf circuit charges storage capacitors, one at a time, from a DC source to a voltage that is higher than the DC output voltage. After each storage capacitor is charged, it is disconnected from the charging circuit and then connected to an output device/regulator that uses the energy in each storage capacitor to provide the desired DC output voltage to a load. While one storage capacitor is being charged, a previously charged storage capacitor is being discharged through an output device/regulator. After being discharged, each storage capacitor is disconnected from its output device/regulator and reconnected to the charging circuit and is charged again. While being charged, the storage capacitors are in a parallel circuit to the inductor in the charging circuit. The inductor in the charging circuit and the DC source are never in a current loop with the load.

The method also includes matching the transaction details to deposit account information to identify a deposit account holder. The method also includes identifying a share beneficiary from the deposit account information. The method also includes determining whether the verification type is a personal identification number (PIN) or a signature. The method also includes issuing a reward amount based on the verification type to the share beneficiary. The method also includes creating a depository file designating the reward amount to the share beneficiary in a format that is importable by a depository financial institution (DFI).

Abstract: A reconfigurable fixture and method for holding a sheet metal part for processing, assembly, or inspection is provided. The reconfigurable fixture includes a holding container made of a flexible material, and holding granules at least partially filling the holding container. The holding container and the holding granules cooperate to conform to the sheet metal part when the sheet metal part is placed on the holding container.

Abstract: Various exemplary embodiments of a retainer system for a ground engaging tool. In one exemplary embodiment, the retainer system may include a lock configured to receive a portion of a support member to be locked with the ground engaging tool and a retainer bushing including an inner surface configured to rotatably receive the lock. The lock may be rotatable relative to the inner surface of the retainer bushing between an unlocked position and a locked position. The retainer system may also include a plug configured to substantially fill at least a space between the lock and the inner surface of the retainer bushing when the lock is in the locked position.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for context-based communication in HTML pages in which embodiments include communications between readers of the HTML content and the creators of the HTML content. The present invention generally relates to the creation and publishing of multiple HTML web pages that may be combined to form a global context as an HTML application. More specifically, the method provides a means to allow readers and authors to create and share content with each other and other readers within the context of a single HTML page or within the context of a grouping of HTML pages in an environment that may have intermittent or unreliable network connectivity.
