  • Publication number: 20220067025
Abstract: Transaction requests may be ordered in a distributed database according to an independently assigned sequence. Different distributed system nodes, such as a transaction coordinator and a storage node may independently assign sequence numbers to requests to access a distributed database. A storage node may receive the request from a transaction coordinator with an assigned sequence number and another request to which the storage node may assign a sequence number. The storage node can then order performance of the requests based on the sequence numbers.

  • Patent number: 11250022
Abstract: Offline building of a projected data subset may be performed. A request to create a data set that is a projected subset of data from a source data set may be received. A data store separate from the data store storing the source data set may store a copy of the source data set that is used to replicate items to the projected subset of data according to a schema for the projected data subset. Updates made to the source data set may also be replicated to the projected data subset according to the schema. Conflicts between replicated items and replicated updates to the projected data set may be resolved by comparing a version identifier for the replicated update and replicated item to determine what to store in the projected data subset.

  • Patent number: 11188904
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of electronic transactions, and provides methods and systems for reducing user interventions necessary for authentication of transactions. In an embodiment the invention implements an authentication server configured to receive from a terminal device an electronic payment transaction request and device IDs corresponding to devices having wireless communication capability that are detected within a wireless communication range of the terminal device. The authentication server selects a payment account for implementing the requested electronic payment transaction, wherein selection of the payment account is based on a determination that one or more of the device IDs received from the terminal device are associated with the identified payment account, and thereafter generates a payment transaction authentication decision.

  • Publication number: 20210368064
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for utilizing intelligent sectioning and selective document reflow for section-based printing. For example, the disclosed systems can intelligently identify document objects (e.g., document structures and sections) within a digital document by utilizing a machine-learning model. In so doing, the disclosed systems can identify document-object types and document-object locations for the document objects in the digital document. In turn, the disclosed systems can provide, for display within a dynamic printing interface, selectable document sections comprising the identified document objects. In response to a user selection of one or more of the selectable document sections, the disclosed system can generate a modified digital document for printing by reflowing the identified document objects in accordance with the user selection.

  • Publication number: 20210358578
Abstract: A biological specimen of a subject is handled and tracked for a procedure involving that specimen. Prior to initiation of the procedure, a first procedure data structure (PDS) is generated. The first PDS binds an identifier corresponding to the subject with an indicator of a procedure to be performed on the specimen and identifiers of a specimen container and a specimen holder that physically contacts the biological specimen, as well as a scheduled time for the procedure. A schedule of a plurality of PDSs including the first PDS, is displayed on a display device of a graphical user interface. Following initiation of the procedure, the first PDS is updated based on user input, and after the procedure, at least a portion of the first PDS, as updated, is stored in a database in conjunction with other PDSs respectively associated with other completed procedures.

  • Publication number: 20210320970
Abstract: A device receives a notification indicating a failure of a first server device responsible for a primary message queue that includes messages at a time of the failure. A second server device is responsible for a standby message queue to which the messages are replicated, where a position in the standby message queue and a message time are assigned to each of the replicated messages. The device obtains a record time that identifies the message time of one of the messages that was last obtained from the primary message queue prior to the failure, compares an adjusted record time and the message time of one or more of the messages of the standby message queue to determine a starting position in the standby message queue, and processes messages obtained from the standby message queue beginning at one of the messages assigned to the position that matches the starting position.
