  • Publication number: 20170201763
Abstract: A digital watermark can be embedded within remote display protocol output. When host-side rendering is employed, the decoder on the client side can include a digital watermark component that can add a digital watermark to the remote display protocol output during the decoding process. This digital watermark can be specific to the end user and/or client device to thereby enable any misappropriation of the remote display protocol output to be traced back to the end user. The digital watermark can be added as a clearly visible portion of the remote display protocol output or can be added as an invisible (i.e., hidden) portion of the remote display protocol output.

  • Publication number: 20170195213
Abstract: A method and apparatus for multipath switching using per-hop virtual local area network (VLAN) remapping is disclosed. In the method and apparatus, a data packet is forwarded for transmission over one of a first port and a second port. The device identifies a VLAN ID of the data packet as a second VLAN ID and changes the second VLAN ID to a first VLAN ID. Then one or more criteria of a classification set entry for forwarding the data packet over the second port are evaluated. The data packet is forwarded over the second port if the criteria are met and the data packet is associated with the second VLAN ID. Alternatively, the data packet is forwarded over the first port and is associated with the first VLAN ID if a dynamic entry specifies the data packet is to be forwarded over the first port.

  • Publication number: 20170187882
Abstract: Various embodiments provide real-time translation of a voicemail into a readable format as the voicemail is being recorded. In some cases, a system server records the voicemail by first answering a call from an originating device that goes unanswered by a destination device. Upon answering the call, the system server translates the recording, while it is being recorded, into a readable format. Alternately or additionally, the system server forwards portions of the readable format to the destination device. In turn, as the destination device receives portion(s) of the real-time translation, it can display the associated content, and/or update what is displayed as new portions are received. At times, the destination device provides additional call control that interrupts the voicemail while it is being recorded at the system server, and redirects the call to the destination device if the originating device is still connected.

  • Publication number: 20170178005
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to human-machine interaction. In one embodiment, an interaction device for providing the interaction between the user and the ECA is disclosed. The interaction device comprises a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores processor instructions, which, on execution, causes the processor to receive conversation data of a user interacting with the ECA, wherein the ECA is presented on an interface of the interaction device. The processor further determines an emotional state of the user based on one or more behavioral parameters associated with the conversation data of the user. The processor identifies a response state for the ECA corresponding to the emotional state of the user, wherein the response state is identified from a plurality of response states based on a pre-defined probability for each response state. The processor further transitions behavior of the ECA based on the response state.

  • Publication number: 20170180268
Abstract: The customization of a communication pipelines having multiple stages. For each stage, a set of agent(s) is/are identified as available for adding to that stage. Furthermore, any stages that already have an agent assigned are identified. In response to receiving a user selection of an agent to be assigned to a particular stage, that does not already have an agent assigned, the selected agent is assigned to the stage. An enforcement agent enforces that there be only one agent assigned at most to each stage. Assignments of agents are made per stage. This allows the functionality of the agent to be simplified more towards augmenting the functionality of the stage. Accordingly, the logic of the agent is simplified, thereby making it more likely that there will be a healthy quality of agents available to select from for each stage.

  • Publication number: 20170166414
Abstract: The present invention is a part of a yarn transfer system used for transferring yarn from a full bobbin to an empty bobbin typically fitted on a winder frame. The invention broadly comprises a yarn traverse device used in transferring a continuously arriving yarn onto an empty bobbin for commencing of winding process during bobbin changeover process in automatic turret winder without any stoppage. This is achieved with the provision of an actuation device that facilitates axial movement of the yarn traverse device. In the present invention, during the bobbin changeover operation, the yarn traverse device is moved axially through the actuation device and allows the traverse guide—while maintaining its normal traverse speed at all times—to move beyond the normal yarn winding zone such that the advancing yarn is within the reach of the yarn grasping device of the ready-to-be-wound empty bobbin. After the yarn transfer is completed, the traverse device moves back to the normal winding zone.
